Love your concept videos! The visuals are awesome. Just a small suggestion: could you maybe slow down the talking speed a bit? Sometimes it's tough to keep up with the fast pace and the background music.

Thanks so much for your videos! I wonder if your would consider doing a video about room size? Have there ever been any studies that evaluate the proportions of a room and how comfortable it feels? Is the “golden rule” ever used in room design? How important is ceiling height? It seems that so many houses are built with grandiose living rooms that feel cold or with bedrooms that are too small. What makes a space feel cozy? Is there a floor plan that comes to mind that you would consider every space to be ideal? Good luck with your channel!

Ive been studying the the effects and relationship of positive and negative space and pondering about Loui Khan's ideas of serve and serverd spaces. I think it's helping make my circulation feel more natural when making a parti or rough floor plan, in my minds eye anyway. lol
I think some people especially fresh out if the gate just think about checking off boxes as in, okay we need x amount of doors x amount of windows the bathroom ect; and the design comes out feeling forced or about as exciting as a wet towel.
I am a very much a dyi student atm waiting to transfer schools though. Sometimes I don't know if I am just making up random nonsense in my head 😆

Curved walls are also great ways of connecting private and public spaces without having to use doors.

Great point!! My one prof loved curved walls and tried to encourage his students to think of them as onions - where you can create slippages and slide them around to create unique circulations and flows(:

Yikes. The example buildings. I've never understood why so much architecture is designed to be so stinking ugly and to basically always have a kind of anti-Life feel to each hideously ugly building. Lord give me old buildings!
