I have to say Xiaomi spend very little time with selfie cams algorithm compared with the rear cams. But if you use the pro mode on selfie or use Open Cam app, the selfies come out very detail without skin smoothing effects. Those blown highlights can be reduced significantly with dialing down the exposure EV setting -0.7 or -1.0.
I just love the sweet spot of sharpening that xiaomi is doing. Just enough sharpening for details but not too much. However, samsung nails skin tone and capturing people better.
Switched from iqoo 9 pro to Xiaomi 14, best upgrade ever the leica filters makes it look so professional and the details from main camera are amazing, my device doesn't have a lens fog issue even though im from a humid part called Kerala in India

I'll go with Xiaomi anyway, but I prefer the quallity on S24+ What stays for the Video capturing , Xiaomi has more smoothnes and I like it more at that point. But that little over-saturating is fire
Can you please write the name of case brand for Xiaomi 14 that apeers shortly in your video. Its a good phone but I'm really struggling to find a good case with magsafe feature

Honestly unless you use emulators you can do preety much everything, only detail is that exynos loses stability a bit quicker than sd @syarifairlangga4608
we didnt see the night comparison that we all know S24+ destroys the xiaomi14 wich has awful flares like any other phone except samsung flagships, apart form that...great job

If the base s24 had atleast 50w charging it would have been worth sacrificing a little bit of performance and opting to s24 due to some features from it like the Dex and reliable software support.
Oversharpened and oversaturated are bad, Xiaomi has better camera, but generally Samsung is better. I would choose S24+ even compared with 14 Ultra eventhough the Samsung's camera is hilarious.

I didn't run into that yet as I never (or had to) shoot in complete darkness. But Xiaomi video frame rate generally looks smoother

There is! Using Camera Assistant, you can get that softer type of post processing by keeping Picture Softening at High
