i'm almost this certain this is more like 1999/2000 era... purely from the sound of eyedea's voice/how old he looks. also, he performs a song off first born which came out in 2001... he definitely doesn't look or sound 15... that would just be too much. and slug doesn't seem that young either
if the rhymsayers on lake st summer 1998 was the correct year, than this seems like a younger eyedea, just slightly, so I would say 1997 is more sensible..but remember, all of the lyrics from first born were written when by the time he was 16, and the earlier stuff was written by the time he was 14, I'm pretty sure he was barely 14 when he recorded grands..and he started battling when he was 15. I know it's hard to believe this a 14-16 year old, but it is very very possible.
ever heard of infinity? don't dwell into it. My mind "broke" when I was in grade 9. I had already been establishing theories of the universe for a couple years, with the whole picture ..inside, and out. Had a brief understanding of particle physics, quantum mechanics, and relativity, and was dwelling further into the infinite, without properly structure my mind, preparing it for the intensive journey I had no clue I was going to to start enduring, with no way out It's apparent this happened
...to eyedea. I also suffered similar insomnia issues from birth as him, needing to be in an upright position, moving forward, to fall asleep...strange as it seems. So I cannot say if the overthinking is actually a cause of the insomnia, or the or insomnia is a cause of the overthinking. He was very very in tune with universe, the frequency loop of thoughts, and very curious. Very evolved, and it is in our nature to ask questions about our existence. He asked a lot, with a very open mind :)

@MAZEY22 I can't say how his mind worked, but I would think that he questioned everything in life, he is a philosopher that questions and tries to answer everything through music (in my mind). I'm pretty sure he was also an insomniac, he had a very active mind and had troubles turning his thoughts off, but that is the case when you ask yourself deep questions. It's much like a rabbit hole, the further you try to explore and answer these questions, the more your mind obsesses.
