NIAD Artist Sam Kershnar

Sam is a multi-material artist. She enjoys fiber, printmaking, drawing, sculpting with both polymer and ceramic clay. Sam has trouble with her vision when it comes to small details and she identifies as she/her.
For Sam art means exploring her creativity through imagination. Art makes Sam feel colorful, imaginative and creative.
Sam is off to visit her mom in Nevada for a few weeks, but I was able to catch a minute with her in the studio to talk about her recent portrait study, and the heroes in her life.
