Despite the reasons I was there, I enjoyed being admitted to a psychiatric hospital. It works best when you are fully committed to the process. Attend every class. Participate fully. Be vulnerable and open in class and with other patients. Tell the truth. Pay attention. Listen. Learn. Rest. If my medical aid will pay for it, I think I might go in once a year; even if I don't need to. Just to rest and reset.
