Cuz in terms of realism 2K is way better than SVR. Tho SVR 11 is the best I've ever played.

The only good SVR game was 2006. All of the other ones were mediocre at best or just flat out terrible (SVR2008).

He changed his theme song to "Voices in my head" because he absolutely hated "Burn in my light". He especially hated it because WWE superstars, according to Randy Orton, aren't allowed to choose their own theme songs. At one point, he actually even considered "This fire burns" to be his new theme, but the WWE creative didn't think it suited him. Of course, he only was allowed to use it for about one week, but that's it. Then, they gave it to CM Punk, who was new at the time. It wasn't until...I'd say about, sometime during 2008 that "Voices in my head" was born or something like that.
SD vs raw 09 was the first wrestling games to focus on tag team gameplay. Hot tag and tag team finisher were nice details.
I always loved this game for the Road to Wrestlemania mode. Brings back great memories of playing as Triple H and Undertaker trying to collect all unlockables.
Always loved that neckbreaker animation at 7:44, looks so brutal.

This was my first WWE game and still one of my favs... I remember in this game there was a 6-man match that was an elimination match by pin/submission with no dqs or countouts (so basically a six pack challenge).... that was the only match I played... sucks u cant do it anymore and its not the same if u make it in the match creator cuz u still cant leave the ring
also I played on the wii version which had the thing where u control ur entrance and u could control what u do after the match (celebrate on top rope, attack opponent with finisher/chairs etc, help opponent and raise their hand, throw them out of the ring and a lot more)
also the wii version had thumbtacks. 10/10
I remember playing as Tommy Dreamer every time. He was my favorite ECW star.

What I like about this old www games is the finishers they hit at perfect time. Whereas when you charge to hit finisher on 2k they wait like 2/3 seconds before hitting the finisher

svr 2009 had the best campaign on rey mysterio and batista mode
I loved this game back when I was 11 or 12 and I still think it's pretty fun today (in my opinion). This was my first wrestling game and it's alright. Decent roster, rtw was pretty good, the graphics aren't too bad for 2008 and the soundtrack was great. Burning halo - save me is my favourite song

Only issue I had was the caw/attributes system. It was frustrating to build up caws to respectable levels. Made it to where I had no interest in caw mode. Easy solution would have been a reward system in which you unlock unlimited attributes for completing a task, which was done in previous games.

The soundtrack for this game was really good. Maybe not the best WWE game, but I did like that you could have this roster in WWE Legends of Wrestlemania. I also loved Create-A-Finisher! This game wasn’t bad to be honest.

I personally like SVR 2008 more, but SVR 2009 was still a lot of fun.
I think 2009 had better match gameplay and a better story mode. Road to WrestleMania in 09 is way better than the 24/7 superstar season mode in 08. But I did cry and still do when I think about how 2009 erased GM Mode. It left me with nothing to do once I finished RTW and got tired of exhibition.

In fact to increase the overall of your CAS you must go to the Career Mode and fight in a good time attacking with objects, reversing attacks, hitting punches and kicks, making holds and teasing too. The soundtrack sounds very good and there is also a very varied roster and the best thing is that you set out to fight superstar against a diva; the bad things are that it is only in a simple match without a special stipulation (Ladder, Cage Match, HIAC, Extreme Rules, etc.), it is a little tedious to increase to 100 the rank of the fighter and that you can not create your own titantron video as in the later games. In fact I already won with a diva all the Championships of the company for days and now its current overall is 85; Now I am unlocking everything but first with another CAS base male I must unlock the Hardcore Championship and continue to increase their skills. It wasn't that great offline,but the *online is where it shined the most* @svr2009. I spent hours on end creating characters and playing with friends online in player matches (hell in a cell and hardcore matches) and ranking up online (fighting tryhards that like to use rey myesterio roll,chick gut kick,goldberg face kick (from hctp),freeze gltiching,and the dang spinning takawando kick using noobs/cheap players lol)
P.s: This was my first wrestling game I ever played online back in (2009-2010) I had a blast :)

The only downside to SvR 2009 is that it took out GM Mode which I will never understand.
In 2008 there was nothing wrong about GM mode just the roster was small at the time

Honestly, I never understood why people liked this or SVR 08. Maybe they're merely complacent with a product that isn't necessarily awful but terribly barebones. There was nothing at all special about these games when we had something so much better in games prior.
SVR '06 and '07 had deeper gameplay elements like double KO. At least '08 also had GM mode but a terrible "story mode" which might've as well been nonexistent. Backstage arenas were a lot better in '06 and '07, and '08 only had one to choose from. '09 didn't even have championship creation. Fighting stances and moving animations were removed when they added personality. The movepools were also completely gutted and added to the monotony.
Although, 2008's addition of extended weapon grapples was a very cool touch. RTWM is a mixed bag for me since I think 06 and 07's stories were long and a lot more entertaining, but I love how the stories are more personal to the small selection of wrestlers there are to choose from.

This game and 2008 are the first ever wrestling game's I've ever played so yeah nostalgia
The game is great, the problem is that they eliminated the Gm Mode and the Season Mode, and also the legends like StoneCold, The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart and others were missed, a curious fact is that Goldberg was going to appear here but since the legends were not going to appear then the idea was discarded.

I loved this game. The RTWM stories were awesome and I loved the sound track, SVR 09 had the coolest sound track. I replayed the RTWM multiple times, till I got tired of it. SVR 09 is my second favorite WWE game behind SVR 2011 and my 3rd favorite game of all time. Behind SVR 11 and Skyrim. I haven't played many games, since 2013, I quit playing video games so I could sell my Xbox 360 and my games for money. I wish I had never sold it now I'm 16, but it was for the best now I save money from not playing games and also spend my time doing more productive stuff, but sometimes I miss it.
