One of Aaron Neville's BEST songs is 'TELL IT LIKE IT IS" He has one of the most UNIQUE voices... I'm from New Orleans, where he is from and I grew up hearing him and his brothers sing in local bars on the weekends. Always great !

@@juliemcdaniel499 He had 3 brothers, Cyril, Charles and Art. Charles is the only one of his brothers that is still alive. First just he and his brother Art sang together, and then the others brothers joined the group and they were officially know as "The Neville Brothers" His sister Arthel Neville went on to become a well known TV broadcaster. Aaron had a 3 year relationship with famous singer Linda Ronstadt, they recorded the popular song "“Don’t Know Much,” which if you see the video, you can tell how much in love they were.
You have great taste in music, but there are several things you got wrong. First, Cyril (the youngest brother) is still alive. Charles was the first to die in 2018. Next, Arthel is his niece. She is Art's daughter. Finally, Aaron and Linda Ronstadt were great friends but not in a relationship. This matters because Aaron was married, and there is no indication that he cheated on his wife. They were married almost 50 years before she died of cancer in 2007.

Aaron's not a country artist. He's more soul and sometimes a bit soulful gospel. He tells a story through his beautiful unique vocals.

Let's get them to 900L. I love their channel because I grew up listening to most of those songs. In our household we listened to all genre of music. To this day, one of my favorite song is Kenny Rogers', The Gambler.

Him and his brothers are New Orleans royalty, if you want to hear his full falsetto voice range listen to Yellow Moon, Brother John, Meet the Boys on the Battlefront, Tell It Like It Is, and he does a great version of Ave Maria and a mean A Change is Gonna Come. Neville Brothers ROCK, catch any of their older stuff like the album Live at Tipitina's!

Aaron Neville is country. One of the greatest voice brands of all time. He is a New Orleans native who started on the streets with bee bop music and later with the Neville Brothers who had their own music genre. Please do more of him.

So many great songs, both solo and with The Neville Brothers. He can sing any genre - R&B, soul, funk, gospel, country, pop, standards. You have such a rabbit hole to go down here. Aaron's biggest solo hit was "Tell It Like It Is". For some good New Orleans jazz/soul/funk, check out just about any song on The Neville Brothers' album, "Yellow Moon" (the real standout being Aaron singing Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come".)
