I'm almost done - just the *one* hour left lol - and I gotta say, seeing all of these in a row I really have to admire your work. You kept my interest the whole way through. Every playthrough was different enough to keep it fresh, you've got a way of narrating that is both hilarious and exciting, and then there's the intrigue with the connected plots - it's fantastic to see someone put so much effort into this. And all just to entertain us. Absolutely awesome.
I have never wanted a video to not end as bad as this one, I watched the last 50 days of the final video more than once before finally accepting it was truly about to be over. I only began playing in 1.18, and while I've seen glimpses of Minecraft's past, the first hour of this video makes me super grateful I started when I did
It was around 1.12 for me, and got immediately introduced to modded minecraft where I fell in love with thaumcraft. For the longest time I only ever played modpacks that had thaumcraft 4 or 6.
I'm a writer, and Legs, that was... I don't have enough words, and usually i have so many. I tried not to pause to read the enigmas or nothing like that, i love your narrative, your ideas, i was amazing just to feel them with you, you can really make that conection happen, sometimes i felt that loneliness, felt the lurking fear of being watched, or speechless when reality wrapped around it self. I’m 4.5 hours in and the first snips of “I have more time!-“ it gives me chills because it’s so mysterious and there’s so much story in there to be told and it makes me excited
as a relatively new minecraft player its amazing to see all the modding possibilities for this game. i started with creative vanilla following tutorial videos on building houses and eventually started actually playing the game in survival. i am still shocked at how deep vanilla is with enchantments, resource farms, redstone, and the like! your awesome mod saga and phenomenal story telling have inspired me to do some digging and REALLY dive deep into all the community has to offer to change the game entirely! after watching this it has become apparent: minecraft is not a game - its a community. even playing alone, i feel like i participate in something bigger somehow. cheers lad!
Yeah this game’s modding section goes beyond what could be considered normal. The game is based on Java, making it insanely easy to mod due to Java being an easy coding language to learn. Even myself, a normal player with the bare minimum of Java knowledge, was able to modify the code in a mod to suit my needs (i added another phantom to origins that reverted the balancing they did to it)

omg, someone actually called branch mining correctly instead of saying "strip mining"?! that is very unexpected but appreciated. Honestly is annoying when people say strip mining when they are absolutely NOT strip mining by any means. For reference, Strip mining is when you strip away terrain layer by layer to get to the ore or other resources you want, it is NOT when you dig a tunnel and make branches off of that tunnel, that is branch mining.
