We had a dolly like that at this ghetto u-haul i used to work at.. they rented the big ass covered trailers too.. they had a proper dolly with a brake on it but was broken for the year i worked there.. had a new kid try and move one of the big ones with the dolly, we used to move them with another uhaul truck but this kid friggn lifted it up and thing whipped up and rolled half a damn mile down the road.. ran into like 4 cars and crap.. lol.. kids 3rd day on the job and he just leaves right after..
If you want to increase the weight handling capacity you can add 1/8 inch plate to the dolly base platform... while your at it extend the base by a few inches if you need more height
Love it. I have a hand truck like that so I am going to make one of those to move my boat trailer. You just saved me about 60 or 70 dollars. Thank you
I'm glad I could help!

Any idea about the weight that bracket can hold? Talking trailer tongue weight.
No
Simple, cheap and effective! Just the way we like it.
very smart idea-=thanks for sharing

What's the name of the bracket and where can I get it from ?
You can make the bracket yourself
Looks like 1 1/2 angle iron, cut around 5 inches, 2 holes drilled through it for bolts
For a trailer that lite why not just go to harbor freight and Bolt-on one of those trailer jack with the 6" wheel.
Why? If he already had the dolly?
@@ronmckinney6589 just another alternative for other people that has a lite trailer, but doesn't have a dolly.
Nice job!
