Remember when the devs were talking about how he would be the first hero to change forms. They just blatantly forgot a bunch of their own heroes... Got it
They probably meant how he goes from Poke to Brawl Bastion go's from shoot to shoot Echo just copies someone Dva doesn't change her form, she's not a form; she's in a mech Ball is the same, its just who he is
I'd say this is more of a form switch than those examples. Bastion's form switch is more of a channeled ability like roadhog's ult than a proper new moveset. Baby D.va is hardly even a moveset, there's basically no situation where you would want to be baby dva. Ball just loses the ability to shoot in exchange for better movespeed and can't get crit, hardly a huge change.
The lower lasting time of his barrier and vortex make me feel a lot better about his balance. On paper he sounded ridiculously broken, but I think they've nailed his timing
honestly love his primary fire, reminds me of using an LMG in battlefield games where you have a stream of bullets and you can kill people with ease if you predict the enemy movement. Great stuff.
I feel like he’ll be amazing with practice. He reminds me of how orisa plays but different. He’s very good at assisting. This guy will get a lot of assists. I feel like his job is to support AND tank. Supporting his damages from afar and when he gets jumped hop into tank mode and ether block untill help comes or beat him up. I feel like he’s gonna be very versatile
Interesting, thanks for this preview. He doesn't look OP, but the skill ceiling looks high, clutch barriers to block certain skills, knowing when to block, positioning is important can't just throw yourself out there like we thought first seeing him.
I think his primary fire looks quite strong. Granted they may have been hesdshots and the bots move in a set pattern so you know where to aim to continue hitting them, but even when you weren't doing heashots it was doing good damage, and when you're against other people who are tanks and much larger targets then it would be constant damage and ult charge.
Yep, it will be a braindead combo that could wipe out an entire team. As always, Overwatch rewards low skill. Meanwhile Doom's meteor strike + all of his cooldowns can't barely kill a single Ana
I think one of the indirect counters to this ult may be Mercy's Valkyrie. So long as she stays out of range of Ramatra's ult range she can give her whole team fast chain healing buying them enough time to kill Ramatra. Should be interesting.
The concern with ram's ult is more him being in nemesis form for an extended period than the chip damage it does. Lucio existing is generally gonna be a better counter than mercy's ult
While I'm sure he'll get tweaks here and there, overall I think they have made a very interesting tank that once people have played for a bit and gotten used to, will be competent and flow really well with other heroes.
What you missed at the very end when being chased by echo, is that shields block the ram ult. They break "line of sight", so probably winston, zarya, maybe sigma would eat rammatra.
I really like the look of Rammatra. I play tank and he just looks like fun. I'm really glad he doesn't seem too OP because I like to swap and change. I feel like Queen is similar in that she is super fun to play but she doesn't out-shine any of the other tanks.

@@obitosenju3768 Everyone read that his punches go through everything, saw his ult then immediately went into panic mode. Everyone thought shield heroes were gonna be dead. Turns out shields are great for instantly cancelling his ult.
A couple of notes I don't think you went over, based on what I have seen from others testing: -Ramattra's Ult is Line of Sighted by any form of barrier, so it's actually fairly easy to reduce the damage or even force the cancel of the ult with well placed barriers. -Rammattra's Ravenous Vortex doesn't have a super high area of effect, flying characters who are high enough can actually fly directly above the vortex and not be affected. Still a good ability, but won't always drag down the birds in the sky as people might've hoped. -When caught by the Vortex, Echo can lift off horizontally to still get out and fly, and Mercy can force her way out with Guardian Angel.
DF needs to be able to actively toggle between block and not like Rammattra's. Block isn't great, but at least it seems like Rammattra can walk forward without speed penalty and get damage reduction. DF is supposed to get some damage boost if he blocks enough damage, but that's trickier to accomplish and the damage doesn't build up over consecutive uses, it just is all or nothing, which also sucks.
Only thing I think is broken about Ramattra is his ultimate, its literally infinite if used on a choke, and just seems to do a bit too much damage while Ramattra can do other things but other than that he seems ok
@@imperialdra-mon5907 i mean, if i'm pushing a payload and a rein tries to block off my ult im just gonna hold W and walk right through it lol. plus aside from at the higher levels of play chances are at least 1 player will be in a bad position/feeding constantly, keeping his ult goind. mei wall is gonna be much more effective imo
Rammatra seems to reinforce the Kiriko+Lucio support meta. Notice at 16:10 in the video, when Rammatra is ulting, Kiriko forces his ult to tick down by using Suzu to make her team immune to his AOE damage. I assume Suzu can also counter the slow/grounding effect from his E ability. So Rammatra needs Lucio to enable him with speed, and Kiriko to counter him with Suzu.
9:45 pretty rare that I can preemptively get upset at my teammates like this. I just know we're going to have people feeding for some reeeeal long ultimates
Block seems useful in the same way Bastion's old repair was useful in his old tank ult. You can just use without consequence in the small moments between dealing damage to mitigate attacks.
Average tank damage, no mobility, his slow doesn't do much damage and is on a long cooldown so he really needs to land his shots. I think he's going to be fine.
He is almost guaranteed to be considered trash by a large portion of the community early on, because they will suck with him and assume it's because the character just doesn't work. What's still up in the air is what the people who are good with him are able to do.

That gameplay just put my mind at ease honestly and I'm very glad with the position he's in. Blizzard still needs to nerf Sojourn into the dirt though.
No i believe i Could Come up with a couple ideas that will make him way more Broken Then he already is, like what if he had a Void Dash Ability Like Moira? and Shots Hit on enemys Cause leech and A Bit of Shadow damage. He Lacks In Damage, he has 100 shots and to kill an Orisa you have to land 95 Head Shots to kill her. So leech on hit would increase his survivability just a bit, and the shadow (Aka Void Damage) Would Make Up for The LackLuster Of damage on the tank. I also dislike having to look down and placing my Sheild Wall, It makes me have to look away to deploy it, you should just be able to place it 5 ft or so in front of the character so i can focus on damage. i also think his 2nd Ability the one that makes him Transform, his punch in that Ability Should have a bit more range, Just soo you could kill airborne Units such as Phara And Some Mercy mains, they could also give him a bit more health, he is sitting at 430, he feels a bit squishy as a tank i am not gonna lie. But i have only played him for about 11 mins currently and i can already say i love the Character Creation how ever i wish he sounded a little more Grimmisly you know?
Block should slow down the nemesis timer Imo. If for example the timer runs out at 30-40% speed then block would be significantly less punishing to use.
I feel like the vortex needs to be more forgiveable with area coverage for flying targets, it's much too short and a bit small overall. The pummel is a great concept, but the range might be a little too short to actually get full usage out of it. i think if it travelled even further after passing the first enemy in a line it's range would be increased without Ram being able to poke with it. The shield is also way too short timed. i think maybe a 5-6 second uptime would be enough to make it more useful for engagement. His survivability in omnic form is not great either because of the slow movement speed... i'd recommend revamping the block ability and making it a movement ability to allow you to get closer for the pummel to actually have effect.

This breakdown made me realize blizzard did what I asked. Ram is perfect to pair with zen. His slowdown/damage cooldown can really help zen when he’s flanked. Harmony would be really good support when Ram rushes with tank mode. Zen still needs a little speed buff to make it perfect
Yeah honestly the cool part about him being really slow is that he can't just leave his supports in the dust so it promotes actually helping them when they're being attacked.
I watched all ramattra vids but Samito's one gave me an idea. What about... Movement speed boost of block? Doomfist gets to one shot after blocking Why wouldn't ramattra charge movement speed It would be like on gameplay trailer. He walks back blocking just enter fight again with built up rage. This would make him even more of a tempo tank, would solve his movement issue, give a reason to block besides stalling payload. Imo easy fix.
It seems like the Barrier and poke are his best abilities . And the vortex you can use on Ariel opponents. His range is pretty good . A poke tank pretty much
I feel like cass’s grenade is gonna be the doomfist scenario where you need to block before it sticks, otherwise you’ll still take full damage from the blast itself, even when blocking.
It doesn't matter regardless if you block or not with Doom, you'll take full dmg from magnetic grenade, its like his counter lol, it doesn't add towards his empowered punch meter, its great for dealing with Doom's block
I speculated he would be a weird hybrid between Rein, Orisa, and Sigma. Turn out I was right. Depending on how effective his primary fire in Omnic form will be, he'll either be a weirder version of Orisa or a "brawlier" version of Sigma.
I'm surprised his shield is so...bad? For a tank at least, having it only be playable on the ground and have a limited duration seems like a huge hinderance for protecting himself or his team. I feel like the duration could probably be removed and it would still be underpowered compared to sigma's shield, and about on par with reigns.
Would prefer the Nemesis be a toggle with infinite duration. The massive slowdown is more than enough to encourage players to switch when the situation calls for it.
now seeing this practice range gameplay, he's definitely in the same general playstyle as Orisa, though more damage focused. his tanking cooldowns are VERY lengthy
Haven't played with him already, of course. But looking at this, I feel like it could have been fun to have his switch be...well, how we thought it was. Once you pop it, you need to stay in Nemesis form for 8 seconds, but after those 8 seconds, you can stay in Nemesis form for as long as you want, whether immediately changing or just using only that.
I think one thing that would make his nemesis form way more viable is if when you use block it either stops the timer for the firm or slows it. It would feel less wasted.
@Stylosa The vortex as it stands only pull flyers down if they are about 10 metres up. If they are higher than that the vortex does nothing. Maybe if the vortex went in a column all the way up it would work but not as it stands.
I think Ramattra as he is, is actually a very balanced character. The enemy comp was built to counter him entirely, I never see Sombras in regular comp matches and usually people at my rank are too stubborn to counterpick, so he will still be good, but when the enemy team counterpicks any tank of course it will make them look weak
On this payload example, I would imagine something like Winston or Sigma to still dominate, especially on maps like Junkertown, it will be really difficult for him to even get in range of the enemy. While on Control, he will be quite strong, cause you're fighting over a stationary objective, which means the enemy has to get close to contest. On certain parts of Push, I think he will be decent, and also first point Hybrid won't be terrible.
If anything, I wouldn't have completely removed the damage decrease, but I would've made it more around five to fifteen percent; not enough to be game-breaking, but enough to stop heroes from reaching certain break-points (e.g. Hanzo and Sojourn can't one tap Reaper and Mei, Genji can't land a headshot fan and dash on a target to get a kill on a squisky, etc.). That way, while it isn't enough to make an insane different, it is enough to keep your team up for longer.
Problem with Block is since Doomfist has a similar if not the exact ability. Currently there is a bug or it might be intended i dont know but echo's granades, cree granade sometimes junkrat primary fire are not counting torwards absorbing damage. Even more actually dealing the non reduced damage. If they changed that with ramattra this is a bug with doomfist.
Watching the pro footage of him being played I would say his primary fire and ultimate at the things that would make me sick in a game haha. Granted you can go around his back and hit his weak spot you're continually receiving damage whether he's facing you or not, and it's not always so easy moving around the back of someone who's watching you try to do it. You could potentially have a Moira and Kiriko on the team and Moira fades to behind Rammatra and then Kiriko teleports to Moira and starts throwing her Kunai at his crit spot on his back for the x3 damage maybe. I also thought Sombra could make use her translocation to get behind and shoot, but could she hack or would his continuous damage from Annihilation stop her hacking?
I don't understand why you say its not like a sigma barrier and more like a mei wall. It is literally a low poly sigma barrier with slightly different targeting and more health
I've got 9 hours on Ramattra and found that ravenous vortex doesn't really do its intended purpose? I primarily use it to slow enemies down to finish them and farm ult with spray and prey in omnic form. Any good flying hero will usually stay out of its vertical hitbox range which seems very small considering what it is meant for. doesn't mean the ability is bad per se as it is very useful in team fights but it doesn't really affect flyers that much
i think the way to play him would be to poke a lot and try to build ult charge as quickly as possible and only use your nemisis form as like a last resort to get out of trouble or to take space for your team to get into a different position idk tho
Is Echo a Counter to Ram? If you didn't notice, even though the OW2 patch made it so her Dup. HP is maxed at 300, She gets the additional 150 Armor from Nemesis Form
I keep thinking that Ramatra's approach to his Omnic form would work pretty well on Genji. Rather than being a mostly mediocre flanker with bursts of obscene damage, let him pull out his blade for a couple of swipes every 8-10 seconds, but for reduced damage. Give him something else for an ult.
5th review and first I heard they removed the 50% damage reduction part of his ultimate. That alone is what pretty much kills him as he seems to be all about quickly getting his ult up as it seems to charge faster than any other tank.
Did you only just hear that? I first heard that about a week or so ago. Most of the other guys probably didn't mention it again because they consider it 'old' news would be my guess. The official story is that someone actually messed up and that the damage reduction was never part of the kit to begin with or had already been removed by the time they shared that. Can't remember which.
im pretty sure they reduced the height of vortex i could be wrong but in the trailer they revealed it looked taller plus people can get out of it easy for a abilite ment to ground people as a example you can just echo shift out of vortex
I have a buff/nerf already I think would help For one, I think his block should pause his nemesis clock. When he's blocking, he stays in the form, but he's fairly useless and slow. So his blocking is now at least not a downside. And for his normal form, I think the shield should last a little longer, but his damage is reduced a small bit.
I was sure sombra would end up being his counter, now after seeing gameplay I bet ana will be. Just to get him out of ult quick to re-engage in OT situations
depending on how deep in the point he is/how long OT has lasted, those 3 seconds of disengagement could cost the game. i have a feeling a majority of players are gonna hold his ult for those exact scenarios
@Stylosa I wanna know why you don't do more over analyzed. Is it alot of editing? I'd literally be your editor for those for free if you promised to do them more frequently. It's literally my life those videos man

That's the point, it has really high health but low duration
Agreed
You dont play him for his shield. You use it to enable him to get into brawl range. If you want a shield then go play sigma
Remember when the devs were talking about how he would be the first hero to change forms. They just blatantly forgot a bunch of their own heroes... Got it
torb doesn’t change form he gets a boost, genji would count with that logic cause of his blade
yeah but those forms either you're meant to change to them or aren't really different forms as you don't unlock different moves and stats
@@mmmduradis7578 torb?
They probably meant how he goes from Poke to Brawl
Bastion go's from shoot to shoot
Echo just copies someone
Dva doesn't change her form, she's not a form; she's in a mech
Ball is the same, its just who he is
I'd say this is more of a form switch than those examples.
Yeah...but damage falls off in Battlefield.
You ran lsat and target finder in BO2 didn’t you?
To much evry new hero just gets delete dps, no thx i am out overwatch is dead
@@wildcardmark skill issue
Old orisa
I hope the lead designer of Ramattra is a Bionicles fan; he reminds me exactly of a really cool Bionicle design, especially the nemesis form.
Yeah tbh when they were talking about him I was really concerned because he sounded so OP however now seeing him play he doesn’t seem that bad
Using Sombra’s ult with Ramattra’s seems like a pretty sick combo 👀 basic- but fun!
Yep, it will be a braindead combo that could wipe out an entire team. As always, Overwatch rewards low skill. Meanwhile Doom's meteor strike + all of his cooldowns can't barely kill a single Ana
@@RRRRRRRRR33 Doom definitely needs some help
I think one of the indirect counters to this ult may be Mercy's Valkyrie. So long as she stays out of range of Ramatra's ult range she can give her whole team fast chain healing buying them enough time to kill Ramatra. Should be interesting.
The concern with ram's ult is more him being in nemesis form for an extended period than the chip damage it does. Lucio existing is generally gonna be a better counter than mercy's ult
Saying this like Ramattra is 1v5ing, he has his supports too
I like how Ramattra's arms move in a pattern like Zen's while using primary fire in Nemesis form. Just slower.
Kitsune rush makes him throw fists as fast as Zen's normal attack.
Seen at 16:46
While I'm sure he'll get tweaks here and there, overall I think they have made a very interesting tank that once people have played for a bit and gotten used to, will be competent and flow really well with other heroes.
What you missed at the very end when being chased by echo, is that shields block the ram ult. They break "line of sight", so probably winston, zarya, maybe sigma would eat rammatra.
exactly his ult is one of the redeeming qualities but Winston will hard counter his ult and sigma is a way better poking tank then Rammatra
I really like the look of Rammatra. I play tank and he just looks like fun. I'm really glad he doesn't seem too OP because I like to swap and change. I feel like Queen is similar in that she is super fun to play but she doesn't out-shine any of the other tanks.
I love his voice, finally a villain that looks and Sounds intimidating and not like a edgy cringe lord like reaper.
Funny is that Reaper was made how he is by the community, he was supposed to be more serious but then people liked his edgelord aesthetic so they went full in
Doomfist?
All of Talon besides reaper now seem pretty serious villains to me. Even Sombra who does have a bit more of a comedic tone with threats and such
And they say and they say and they say
let's be honest, we all still like his funny edginess. OW fans wanted a stereotypically evil dude in a black coat and they got him
Ramattra seems defenseless when he’s losing ground. If you’re getting shot at it just seems like he is limited in ways he can keep himself alive.
Honestly I never got why people assumed he will be OP 100%. I feel at best he will be high end tank
@@obitosenju3768 Everyone read that his punches go through everything, saw his ult then immediately went into panic mode. Everyone thought shield heroes were gonna be dead. Turns out shields are great for instantly cancelling his ult.
Title and thumbnail: RAMATTRA OP MOST BROKEN HERO?????
Video: he's fine
A couple of notes I don't think you went over, based on what I have seen from others testing:
-Ramattra's Ult is Line of Sighted by any form of barrier, so it's actually fairly easy to reduce the damage or even force the cancel of the ult with well placed barriers.
Not even you can take any shield hero or even mei to block him off for 3 seconds and his ultimate dies
winston dive and put a bubble over him. ezpz. shit ult
His ult will never be "broken" past low ranked play because literally all you need to do is put up 1 barrier and he's done
@@paper2946 What's not up in the air anymore are Mercy and Phara 😏
@@OfficialPotentTHC not really they need to be really low to get into vortex unfortunately
And i rarely see them that low unless you are in bronze or something
@@imperialdra-mon5907 I think that was a joke but indeed it'd take a really bad Pharah to get caught in vortex.
@@paper2946 Every hero can be onetricked to t500 now but plenty of them are still bad. I predict some changes soon. My idea is to make omnic form vortex increase jump height instead of slow
I think it would've been better if his ult had more damage and effects along with time based on how many were around him when activated rather than infinite usage as long as you're attacking someone
Thanks for the video! You're one of the only overwatch creators who is honest isnt a shill for blizzard!
I feel like more people will be inclined to buy the battle pass now because he isn't so OP. Nobody wants the P2W they just want fun heroes and he looks fun without being busted. That gameplay just put my mind at ease honestly and I'm very glad with the position he's in. Blizzard still needs to nerf Sojourn into the dirt though.
think i saw somewhere they're gonna look into her railgun damage falloff. hopefully they adjust the time she can hold full charge as well
Agreed imma hold off on the BP and just unlock Rammatra through hero challenges next season if I can’t make it to teir 45
Why can’t Mai be a tank she has a shield and a ice block that heals her a few small changes and she could be a good one
No
No
Her primary and secondary would play too similarly to zarya, except more annoying
@@imperialdra-mon5907 do you have a reason more then just no because there’s like 27 damage characters and this dude just compared th new tanks defense ability to Mai so do you actually have a reason or you just don’t wanna balanced game
@@dooddoingstuff no they wouldn’t she has to charge her beem up with her bubbles and you can probably name x amount of characters with assault rifles that feel the same when you shoot there’s also two melee champions so they both shoot similarly road hog and junker queen are both shot gun wielding front lines who cares if two characters feel the same when they shoot you primary so long as the abilities are diverse enough to make the fight different finally I said a few minor changes that would include an overall reduction of her damage because as a front line she’ll need more hp and diva also has shot guns as well so there’s THREE front lines (one new) who all have the same type of shot gun pellet spread
He looks really fun to play, I'm glad he isn't OP though, because if he was and your tank doesn't have Ramattra unlocked, it's GG go next.
I think I’m nemesis form you could use block on and off most useful when fighting rein close up. I’m assuming Hog’s hook doesn’t bounce off you while your blocking right? And does Ramattra get an even greater knock back reduction in nemesis form??
Do you have any other tips against other CC heroes?
I love how in nem form he has a punch, and a melee attack
Amazing
I am curious, how are you able to enter this build?
Blizz invites content creators to preview early builds like this so they can have content ready for when the builds are released to the public.
His playstyle seems similar to Orisa: poke and brawl while cycling through abilities.
Curious how he'll be against lasers like Zarya.
Im going to assume zarya will be a hard counter infinite bubbles
@Bayonetta unfortunately I'm not familiar with how the bubbles are implemented. Will ram shoot through the bubbles or no?
@@stevenstarlin from my knowledge nothing (so far) can penetrate zarya’s bubble
This breakdown made me realize blizzard did what I asked. Ram is perfect to pair with zen. His slowdown/damage cooldown can really help zen when he’s flanked. Harmony would be really good support when Ram rushes with tank mode. Zen still needs a little speed buff to make it perfect
Yeah honestly the cool part about him being really slow is that he can't just leave his supports in the dust so it promotes actually helping them when they're being attacked.
Rammatra seems very balanced
CLEARLY BALANCED! :clueless:
Unlike sombra. Terrible hero design
I watched all ramattra vids but Samito's one gave me an idea. What about... Movement speed boost of block?
Doomfist gets to one shot after blocking
Why wouldn't ramattra charge movement speed
It would be like on gameplay trailer. He walks back blocking just enter fight again with built up rage. This would make him even more of a tempo tank, would solve his movement issue, give a reason to block besides stalling payload. Imo easy fix.
plus that would open up more support* hero picks on his team cuz lucio wouldn't be as important. really good idea actually
Can't wait to pay 10 bucks for him. But wait, I'm poor, oh well :(
you don't have to, free at lvl55 ;)
I mean I survived a dva ult right next to her using my block and I survived
Literal pay to win character. Can't wait to get yelled at cause I don't have him yet! 💘
Win what? His kit is pretty dogshit. That’s like saying if you had to pay for junker queen its PTW
Did you even watch the video he’s low-key mid
did you not watch the vid??
It seems like the Barrier and poke are his best abilities . And the vortex you can use on Ariel opponents. His range is pretty good . A poke tank pretty much
Waiting to see more Doomfist vs Ram lineups. Getting a nemesis punched back to save your team might be fun.
Anyone else miss when the player test server was actually able to be tested by all players-
Instead of the vortex, what if nemesis form had a shoulder tackle kind of thing? It'd add a tool to close distance and some mobility instead of none.
sounds cool, but sounds too similar to rein charge and doom punch. unfortunately that probably means lucio will be a mandatory pairing with him
I kinda missed some things about old orisa, but this guy looks a bit like he'll scratch that itch.
If it sticks that is
I speculated he would be a weird hybrid between Rein, Orisa, and Sigma.
Bro why tf are half the OW youtubers saying Ram is broken while the other half is saying he's dogshit and needs a shitload of buffs?
now seeing this practice range gameplay, he's definitely in the same general playstyle as Orisa, though more damage focused. his tanking cooldowns are VERY lengthy
The part I'm most excited about was that Stylosa finally said, "Toodeloo," again.
Vortex is escapable with Sojourn slide, Echo flight forward then upward, Mercy movement upward, and Pharah max height
Really wish tank form wasn't temporary, would have been cool for him to be an actual form changing hero
A zen kiriko ult stack with ramantra be incredibly broken
So what I'm hearing is, (depending on the balance changes) Kiriko and Lucio combo just got better with Ramttra.
Huh.
Btw, this map is beyond cool and gorgeous, makes me wanna go live in that village and be zennyatta's neighbor
Vortex doesn't go high enough for phara or mercy unless they come down for a ult or something
Problem with Block is since Doomfist has a similar if not the exact ability.
Currently there is a bug or it might be intended i dont know but echo's granades, cree granade sometimes junkrat primary fire are not counting torwards absorbing damage. Even more actually dealing the non reduced damage.
If they changed that with ramattra this is a bug with doomfist.
just imagine nano-boosted annihilation, or nemesis form in a kitsune rush
Teamwork scary, gotcha
Watching the pro footage of him being played I would say his primary fire and ultimate at the things that would make me sick in a game haha. Granted you can go around his back and hit his weak spot you're continually receiving damage whether he's facing you or not, and it's not always so easy moving around the back of someone who's watching you try to do it. You could potentially have a Moira and Kiriko on the team and Moira fades to behind Rammatra and then Kiriko teleports to Moira and starts throwing her Kunai at his crit spot on his back for the x3 damage maybe. I also thought Sombra could make use her translocation to get behind and shoot, but could she hack or would his continuous damage from Annihilation stop her hacking?
sombra would have to hack from outside the ult range that's all
STY YOU GOTTA KEEP MAKING THESE TYPA VIDEOS WHEN NEW HEROES COME OUT! awesome breakdown
Any good flying hero will usually stay out of its vertical hitbox range which seems very small considering what it is meant for. doesn't mean the ability is bad per se as it is very useful in team fights but it doesn't really affect flyers that much
Blocks should only be used for ultimate and buying time for your healers to heal you!
This looks like a great hero design wise! Maybe needs some tweaks to his damage, but still looks great
i think the way to play him would be to poke a lot and try to build ult charge as quickly as possible and only use your nemisis form as like a last resort to get out of trouble or to take space for your team to get into a different position
idk tho
Can't remember which.
that doesn't really matter tbh, 600hp with some armor and infinite 50% frontal dmg reduction plus good supports means he's gonna be hard to kill
im pretty sure they reduced the height of vortex i could be wrong but in the trailer they revealed it looked taller plus people can get out of it easy for a abilite ment to ground people as a example you can just echo shift out of vortex
Yeah phara and mercy need to be pretty low now to get in there
And i rarely see a phara that low unless it's for her ult at least in plat and up
nah the pharah was already pretty low to the ground iirc, trailer made him look WAY better. still excited to try him out tho
I have a buff/nerf already I think would help
For one, I think his block should pause his nemesis clock. When he's blocking, he stays in the form, but he's fairly useless and slow. So his blocking is now at least not a downside.
And for his normal form, I think the shield should last a little longer, but his damage is reduced a small bit.
I know it was an advertisement, but I have an Nvidia card, and I simply didn't even know about that Reflex Boost thing. Thanks!
It's literally my life those videos man
He looked so mad OP in the trailer, he ended up being OKAY, but I doubt they'll just leave him like that. Knowing Blizzard from everything we've seen over the years, they're gonna buff/adjust him.
