@@dinav2052 I’ve been thinking about using a burnt pumpkin color for fall. I have some Lion brand pound of love which I consider a thinner 4 worsted weight yarn🧶. Not sure if I’ll need to go down a hook size or not🤔

I love the look of the chainless foundation, but I've always struggled with it. Thank you for sharing your trick about using your thumb to mark that "sweet spot" before completing the stitch! Genius! This cowl is stunning!
I absolutely adore this cowl and how it looks way beyond the norm and yet is so krazy easy to work up. Thank you so much Hon for all your time, work and effort you put into these tutorials and the live chats. Much love from the Last Frontier ✨💫🤗🤗💕💜💗💙💫✨
I've made several of these using your tutorial and they are sooooo pretty! Its very easy and fast to make. Everyone loves them. Thanks for giving the instructions to use a regular chain to start.
I’m so excited about your beautiful flower designs going to give to my mom for her 90th bday showing her as we go so she can be as excited as we are and one is prettier than the last thanks for yet another incredible design with so much thought into each flower 🌸
Have tried this chainless foundation a couple of times but I just can’t get it to be even… Guess I need more practice. Great quick project, specially for us who need to keep our hands busy! Thank you 🙏🏻
Hi, Virginia & Gloria!! I know, right? Just keep trying the chainless foundation every couple months... eventually it will just SNAP in your head and make total sense. Takes a few tries, with some time passing between them for it to really stick. Hope that helps! 🌻🌺🌼
Christa, the green fabric background provides an excellent contrast color for being able to easily see your work💚 I’m always super impressed with how well thought out and professional your tutorials are. Thanks for all your hard work and another superb tutorial. I purchased your Coronation Scarf and it’s as great 🌻💚🙏💕💕💕
I am so happy that this popped up in my youtube! This is exactly what I wanted to make for myself! I usually make stuff for others, but I was looking for a pattern like this. thanks so much!
I hope I dont sound ignorant but I have never seen a project started without the chain first and then your first row. I know I am new to crocheting but my mother did try to teach me when I was a but a girl. So I am a little familiar with crocheting. Or at least I thought I was lol. Oh boy I have so much to learn!
Hi, Connie Hash!! No - you have it right! Just us lazy folk have figured out a way to NOT work into a chain. ;) lol!! You can do it either way you feel comfortable - the chainless foundation DOES take a bit of getting used to. ;) Thank you! 🌻🌺🌼
Nice pattern and instructions 👍 how many inches is the width because I'm using a different stich it would help me to know 🤔 thank you for your time and creativity
I asked the question about making this in an afghan. After watching, I imagine that you could do the "shell" row, then do 2 rows of sc (like the finish) and then do another row of "shell" stitch. I'm going to give it a try.
Thank you so much I really really enjoyed watching you creating this amazing and gorgeous snood. I’ve subscribed and given you a thumbs up too. Please stay safe and well too
Would you still use a 9mm hook with yarn that is described as "between DK and worsted"? The recommended hook size is 4.5, but not sure if you would still use a 9mm?
Hello… not sure if I am doing anything wrong but I tried to buy your pattern for spiral cowl hoodie… there is an option for PayPal at the beginning but not at payment… I will not put my card details in as I don’t trust sites… I am a pensioner an the small amount I have in that account is all I have so…. PayPal is my only way to pay for anything…. I couldn’t find a way to pay with PayPal so I didn’t but the pattern…. Thank You…
Please tell me how you can chain 72, put your first SC into the 2ND stitch, and still end up with 72 SC!!!! You will lose one SC because you're working into the 2nd chain from the hook. This I think is what throws the entire pattern off and makes it "crooked". Wouldn't you have a multiple of 4 + 1? That is, chain 72 (a multiple of 4) plus 1, which would be 73? That way when you get to the end of your first row of SC, you have 72 and not 71. Or did I just not hear that in the video?
Hi, KentuckyWoman2!! The tutorial says to make 72 sc, and then join with a sc into the first stitch. I'm not sure what other part of the video you are referring to? 🌻🌺🌼
@@SecretYarnery The very beginning. I never could do foundation chains, so I just chain x number and then stitch into them for the first row. That's the row I'm talking about. No matter how many chains you have initially, once you put your first stitch into the 2nd chain from the hook, you will end up with one less than you started with.
I've been crocheting for a few years and try as I may, I cannot make this come out right. I've done it over and over and over and I'm still left with 4 chains at the end, not three. Maybe the written pattern explains it better, but I don't want to waste $5 on a pattern that won't turn out. Been there, done that. It's too bad, because this is so pretty, but the stitch count is off somewhere or something's been left out of the tutorial, one or the other.
Ugh! I forget the circumference... Every. Single. Time!!! TWENTY-EIGHT inches! Beginning chain 72 OR multiples of 4 for whatever yarn size you're using, just make sure it's 28 inches/14 inches across when connected!
