i never have a japanese class in my life, all i know is from... you know, watching anime. with that being said, i just want to ask, 0:36 doesnt it mean "let's fly" (toberu) and her voice does not sound like asking a question, or that "ru" is just a shorter version of "dekiru?" (can you do it?). please let me know
As far as i know, it is indeed "Can you fly"
Maybe because she was on a rush her voice didn't seem to sound like she was asking, but yeh.
"lets fly" would be something like "tobou".
It's similar to statements doubling as questions in English. e.g. I want to borrow my friends car, instead of saying: "Do you have your car here?" I would instead say: "You have your car?" which in this case, the tone is flat. Another way to look at it is that this is a shortening of "You can fly, right?" without the "right?" part.

Why is there husbando on the title
Though kobayashi is a woman, she acts like the father and provider in their household together with Tohru and Kanna. That is my concept on this video. Hope that helps :)
