The downside of that "Future" cable of course is that the connectors are made of sandblasted aluminium which has a high chance of scratching anything you put in a pocket with it. This basically forces you to put it in its charging case at ALL times, which severely limits the usability of it, especially when you're loaning out pieces to people and have to be handling the small cables multiple times a day. They should've made the edges rubber or silicone at least.
I agree about AirPods Pro 2 having excellent noise cancelling. I used them on a plane ride recently and they were as good as my Bose over-the-ear model.

Exactly! Over the ear headphones have been a necessary evil for me, I don’t really like wearing them. I was so happy when I first tried the Pods Pro.

Nope, 30W. And if you use a charger with multiple ports and charge devices at the same time, you're going to want some extra headroom.
