I think as far as giving items away, that's fantastic and super generous, but you know, I've only been a follower of your channel for a little bit, and I find that the time you give to other channels, promoting other RUclipsrs and answering questions... All of those things go a long way. And I think you're already a very generous person.
Great resolutions! My ones should be, cut down on the new ones I'm buying, for what seems the sake of it! Just pick one or two titles of old ones to concentrate on! Stop buying variant covers! I also need to save as it appears I will have a dental bill of a couple of thousand pounds through the year, possibly more! "Look after your teeth people" As an idea for locating your "lost" books, I scan every cover I have and allocate it a box number, so I know where they are! Starting from scratch will take time, (unless you do this already?) but it will help you appreciate your books like you want to! This year, I will continue to modernize my preservation of my comics. I completed my cap run this year. I will not have to spend as much. I go back and dig through my boxes to find interesting stuff to do a show on. It keeps me looking at the stuff on a regular basis . I need to get better at technology, which is a challenge for me. Inspire my grandkids to get interested in comic books.
If you want to spend less money, maybe stop hanging out so much with Steven. 😂 I actually think your channel celebrates /appreciates your collection well. You are always showing new books and interests from your collection, it’s nice. My goal for 2025 is to buy/trade into a Hulk 1.… same goal as every year.
Cool resolutions... I'm gonna try and stick to 1 or 2 raw books a week and 1 graded book a month... this year, I only had a target of 8 graded comics (as the previous year I got 16) I surpassed 8 graded comics by 6 getting 14, so I will try and get at least 6 graded books next year (36 graded books in 3 years) 🤗

Your resolution 1 (spend less on CBs) will be really tough to do, taking into consideration that it will still be a buyer's market for the first half of 2025. Your resolution 2 (focus on bigger book, not little books) is my problem. I love acquiring raw, high-grade bronze books. It's addicting because ... they're there, and they're at relatively low prices right now.
I would think you would want to thin the collection down. If there are books where you know you have them but have not seen them in a few years, i think that is your sign. It will help organizing and with displaying them. I know you dont like to sell so maybe trade the books that are just meh and not really part of a collection you are going for. For me, my resolution is to go for keys and stop with the collection creep

Organizing my collection is the main resolution for me this coming year. I'm also planning to catalogue my collection while I'm at it

This year I want to ONLY buy comic books on my pre-approved want list. If the book IS NOT on my “want list” - I am not allowed to buy it.
That's a great way to stay focused. Too often I wonder off from my want list.
