Is it possible to set the bulb to automatically change color depending on the time of day? For example, white during day time and yellowish during night?
I know I am being picky lol but when I was watching the video of you switching the colors on google home app, I noticed the colours didn’t fade but popped to change to a different colour. Currently I am using the Mi Essential LED bulb and checking for alternatives. Great video btw thanks for covering these budget products

Hello! Unfortunately, there is no option to choose manually type the hex code colour on the Tapo app or Google Home. There are just set of color that you can choose to change it. I best used it with Google Home app since it does have more options for color than the tapo app and since my smart home device is intergrated deeply in Google home system. Hey I've just bought two of these and I can't get them to flash 3 times from the start, both the lights are on dimmer switches do I need to change them to a normal switch for them to work? Thanks.
Advisable ba na kahit hnd i turn off yong main switch ng bulb. Sa app lng i turn on and off mag ba baskayon kasi kami mga 1week kami wala sa bahay sana ma notice
Yes, that's would be fine. I have been doing it ever since I purchase it and I have scheduled it to automatic turn on and turn off on specific hours. 😄
This is true for most Smart Bulbs, since there is no way for them to tell the difference between a power outage and actually unscrewing them and putting them back in.
I have four of these and they are absolute trash. Even with Wi-Fi and factory resets, etc. they do the stupidest things such as turning blue when you want white light.. white light is not even accessible for three of my bulbs and the fourth one that does turn white won’t reset. These things are seriously over complicated. I purchased Chinese knock offs a few years before I got these in the app, for those is far superior, and the lightbulbs worked much better for nearly 1/3 of the price of these tech trash.

Yes, it can be used as a regular bulb. You dont need to pair it again if you turn it off it switch. 👍

Yes, you can still use it as typical bulb using a wall switch.
Is a single bulb enough to properly lit a regular bedroom?
From my prior experience, yes, they are usually pretty bright, especially if you place it in a smart setup.

If there is a power outage, when the power returns, the bulbs turn on even if before they were turned off? No one is mentioning this in reviews.

I believe the lamp keeps its last on/off state similar to the Tapo smart plugs.

If the wifi is off. It will stay on its last state(If it on or off) though you can still use it manually as a regular bulb with the switch. 👍
