I own a NX300 and by no means am I anywhere close to being a professional photographer (I'm more of a clueless not so critical user) I've always used point & shoot cameras for my photos... so a lot of the functions of this camera left me clueless of their purpose... After watching your review and adding it to my favorites I now have a video users guide to help me understand and enjoy using the many functions of the NX300...
I bought this camera recently and used it for my sister in law wedding. All photos turns out great. At first i cant decide to buy sony a6000 or samsung nx300. I chose nx300 because of budget,usage and quality. I dont use it professionally. One thing that i love was autoshare function.

I own NX300. 1. Yes, the absence of EVF is smth that I had to use for. But still you can use your smartphone as a remote viewfinder and control. 2. To mu use I found no any problems with manual controls. NX300 has more controls than NEX cameras. 3. Lens IQ is on of the the best the class of APS-C mirrorless cameras, better than NEX for sure. 18-55mm kit in version III is very sharp and high contrast lens for such a small size and price. I think overall NX300 is a clear winner in his class.

Unfortunately I have the NX300 send back after the test - like always. So I can't test this. As far als I remember you can make manual settings in video mode and you can control the camera via WiFi from the smartphone.
NEX-6 because of the electronic viewfinder. I need a viewfinder for the perfect composition of my pictures. But: That's my personal opinion and the NX300 is still a camera with fantastic picture-quality.
Can you have full manual control over the video mode? 1. Question. I want to be able to control or set the shutter speed of the video. Can I do that with this camera? 2. Question. Can I adjust the aperture while I'm recording a video? I probably can't do that because it doesn't have an aperture ring.. Does it? The best video on RUclips. and It looks like you answer peoples questions too, which makes your video very special. Very Good video (+1)

Great video. My NX300 has unfortunately suddenly stopped capturing sound from its in built microphone. I took three videos 10 minutes apart. The first one was just fine but the other two recorded perfect video but with any sound. Has anyone in your experience come across this problem and were able to overcome the problem?

When I playback my video on my camera I can hear the audio through out the whole video! But when I transfer the video onto quicktime or iMovie it plays the sound for about 45 seconds and than cuts out the rest of the audio! any suggestions what that might be? thanks

I know there are a lot of factors that come with shooting pictures but I'm looking for a general good quality picture since I don't really know this camera.
My honest opinion: Never shoot an important event with a camera you don't know. Please use the camera you are familiar with. There is no general setting which is perfect for every situation, you must know the camera, if you want to take good pictures.
mehmet emin Neither LCD nor AMOLED are any good for judging colour - both are too easily swayed by the colour temperature of the ambient light. It really makes next to no difference - shoot raw and use post processing for the colour temperature / colour adjustment.

Samsung NX300 (starting 000 or 0000) model does not include viewfinder if you wanna viewfinder on Samsung NX go for NX30 or NX1

You can't, they only microphone you can use is the Samsung EM-10 microphone which is hard to find these days
