I've had this game since I was a kid and it always impressed me how well they were able to get the traditional crash experience onto the GBA. Especially the chase sequences, they look REALLY good for the GBA.
Yeah. It may be mostly side-scrolling, but this still feels like a Crash game, whereas for instance I couldn't get into the GBA Spyro games at all, because they just aren't the same with that isometric view (and it's way too easy to get lost).
The quality looks super good on this. Currently stuck on Snow Job’s relic … all of those penguins are annoying as hell and the little electrocuter-things lol.
@@jasper9291 No essence. Music is far away from iconic, horrible new characters or mediocre variations from existing ones, bad stage designs, terrible difficulty handling, terrible camera angles, terrible control precision etc... Crash 4 is only a try for recicled continuation but makes clear how a basic idea without the original creative source does not produce a brilliant product. Curiously this "Huge adventure" game, its nice basically because reuses the same exact music, scenaries, controls from Naughty Dog, its just an adaptation from PS1 to Gameboy but well done.
Dang, thanks a ton for making this. I would've wasted so much time on Just Hangin', and I thought that you couldn't get the gem if you popped the balloons in the flying levels.

I have never played this game but, I have played N-Tranced. 💖 By the levels and music of this game it's like if it's a Gameboy Advance version of Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and 3: Warped. 💖
I was a toddler when I had my first GBA (the SP Black Edition) and this game was my first. Again as a toddler, here I was killing myself at level one thinking I was winning Man I’m effing stupid
@@TheMoonRover Hey, sorry I was a tad direct in my last comment, apologies. This is really helpful, thank you. Sorry to be a pain again, but I may as well ask you, as you've replied. Where could I find the Yellow Gem? I appreciate I could just watch the video, but in truth it's easier to ask for this section specifically. Appreciate your time and response, thank you
@@12parkourdude12 No, that's okay. It's in Final Countdown (1:17:50). At some point you bounce up to the right, and the gem is across some platforms to the left.

yeah especially the polar bear chasing you lol. that was good
I have that game in my gba but the battery is dead how can i change it
I never had a GBA but I spent a lot of time looking at the games in the shops. Great to finally see what they're like, awesome video!
In all my years of playing crash bandicoot games I have never once seen this one or even heard about it
Well, there's probably more where that came from. I've just started recording the sequel, Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced.
I played this game as a kid back in 2004-5 when I was 5-6 years old at my grandmas... good times
You probably were raised on Mario. I don't blame you, most parents are like that. When I have kids, I'm raising them on Crash
this is so nostalgic omfg
also this made me realize i never got past 'just in slime' as a kid >.>
crash bandicoot: the huge adventure will always be in my heart.

2:14:06 how does it run like that?
@@bestgamesdeluxe2144, it's a power you get when you defeat Cortex; you had to hold a button while moving, I don't remember if it was R or L.

Very proffesional. It was a big help for me. Really great content. :)

looking for all the good ol games to play em all day long
The only non-Naughty Dog Crash that conserves the original essence. Really good made game for such a console.
What about Crash 4?

Omg thank you. I couldn't get past a part but you helped.
One of my first, favorite games on first console ever, true history right here
This and N Tranced are solid Crash games, really fun
I am so glad I got this and other crash GBA games for my SP😁👍 but now I found there is a Upgrade for my SP screen! IPS!🥳🥳🥳🥳can't wait to get it!😉

What shader are you using? It looks great.
I think it was xBRZ 6x, though I'm not entirely sure at this point.
If anyones stuck on ledge jump in star to finish, first hold r to duck then press a twice to jump higher than usual.
That bonus in Just Hangin' is just impossible to get all crates OMG
HAHAHAHA TELL ME ABOUT IT. That bonus is so ridiculous man !

Does this took place after Warped and before Wrath of Cortex?
After Warped and and after The Wrath Of Cortex
I saw you miss plenty of boxes in frostbite cavern. How did you end up with the diamond in the end?
On the chase section? The bear breaks them if you lure him to the correct side.
@@TheMoonRover what about the nitros outside of the cave
@@TheJourneyofAll The green ! crate at the end of the level destroys all the nitro crates.

How did your life went from 20 to just 2-3 in the next stage?

How do you do the jump at 36:45 ??
I am also here for this , maybe he does double jump?
¿Are You Playing On A Emulator?
Wait, we need ALL the relics to unlock the true ending?
Yes, same with Crash 3, CTR, WoC, and CNK. Except they only require sapphire relics for the true ending. This game requires gold relics.
I play this game and gba so nostalgic😢😢😢😢😢
1:16:58 I can't do this jump, how do u do it?
Edit: Took me quite a few tries but I did it.
Why your game quality is so good?
The emulator I used has a selection of shaders to improve the image. I picked the one I thought looked best. I think it was the xBRZ 6x shader.

How do you slide using android phone please
