You had the subtitles but didn't read them. That's how you understand what they're saying. You said you want to expand your music taste, you shouldn't limit yourself to English songs only. You'll miss out on some great music. 💜
also to fully understand the lirycs it's good to know the context of the song. Outro Tear was written when they were considering disbanding (?? im not 100% sure) but i bet that if you ask Armys on twt then they'll surely answer your questions. (sorry if i made any mistakes, im a lil dyslecitx)
Its becoming a huge pet peeve of mine when people knowingly record a reaction to foreign music and then complain they dont understand the music or talk about how they wish is was English.. also I'm not sure what more they could of done to level up this performance they are in custom dior outfits performing a song they wrote when they thought BTS was going to disband these are their raw emotions of a dark time..maybe you went in expecting like a high energy dance performance so you were disappointed 🤷🏼♀️
This guy is surprised they rap, but he already saw Mic Drop. Also his title for his reaction to Stray Kids shows he’s just trying to be inflammatory. This is all giving classic clout chaser who we shouldn’t bother with. But of course lots of ARMYs and multis are going to give him the clout he wants.
@@JzygdkjsksCheck out Gameboy310. He doesn't post a lot because he's a busy guy but he's awesome. That's also a big red flag for me! People that post EVERY SINGLE DAY multiple times a day! Just a pet peeve of mine I guess. 💜
they don’t just rap…they got the best rapline in all of kpop. In kpop nobody touches them when it comes to having the lyricism, flow and knowledge of hip hop culture. ofc there are really good rappers in kpop but the thing that some of them lack is their real love and appreciation for the hip hop culture. that’s something bts don’t lack. their ( rapline ) are known to be fans of hip hop since they were little and they make sure to give props to those artist in their songs that have inspired/influenced them to be the rappers that they are today.
Ok maybe lyricism and knowledge but Han and Changbin do come close in flow or if not are subjectively better. Them starting out as underground rappers also does help, whereas most kpop idols like Han and Changbin never rapped properly prior to kpop training. RM also idolising Kanye West and Suga coming from a bad background might also add to the lyricism.
@@noobus7251 not maybe…definitely. “subjectively” personal opinion. I am aware that since namjoon and yoongi were underground rappers it helped but jhope wasn’t, he was able to grow as a rapper thanks to namjoon and yoongi showing him the ropes. yeah ofc, the lyricism and flow that is put into their music is influenced from artist that they idolise and the experiences they’ve had in their lives, but as someone who’s been a fan of rap and hip hop since I was little, I’ve never encountered such deep thought lyricism from an artist before.
@@reneeana_777 yes but Changbin has had flows that aren’t even used in Kpop and raps in an extremely unique way. That’s why it’s subjective. And that’s also why most people lean towards Stray Kid’s rap rather than BTS’s. Most of the people I seen who react to both usually say SKZ are better rappers. Not because they have good lyrics or knowledge, but because they sound better at rapping.
@@reneeana_777 and you also said “nobody touches them” so it doesn’t really prove anything when you try to say “personal opinion” because that’s not personal opinion when it’s completely wrong. It’s like saying nobody touches Lebron James when it comes to basketball but there’s Michael Jordan?
I know you are not too familiar with BTS yet and how many members in the group etc, but to wish it was more in English.... you have subtitles. I don't EVER see any Western, American rappers and singers learning another language to accommodate their foreigner fans. You should be in awe and amazement and even great appreciation the fact that these korean artists are plugging in English (taking their busy ass time to learn a foreign language, write lyrics in another language and even perform in another language) to their music and still stay true to their roots. You are most likely doing these "non english" performance reactions only to get subscribers and views.
Ah ah ah like all these "reactors" they only want live from youtube and don't have a real work and are desperate for likes and views. None of them are interested in the groups that react. The rules are simply react to popular trends like kpop artists, said only good things put a face of surpraise and said that you are a new fan. It's all and also acting like you are really interested in the group😅. And complain about the lenguage is a typical USA thing bcoz the rest of the non-english world is the majority bilingual but they think that the world revolves around them. IDK how people believes to this "reactors". Stop to give them free money to smoke that is the only thing that they are interested. The world need another good causes to give money.
This!!! There are so many new people reacting to BTS content and majority are in it for the views and likes. I will watch a reactor once maybe twice to get a feel. To see if they are genuine or not. This one is definitely not. Like seriously turn on the subtitles if you want to know what they are saying. They are a Korean group! Why are you asking for all English songs? If that’s what your looking for go react to and English singer. This guy is a no for me. Seriously what did he want to see in this performance? Did he want them dancing? Flying around? It’s a rap song which they rapped the hell out of! You can see the emotion and passion in their performance. This guy is not it…Bye
This is the rap line [ RM Suga and Jhope ] "They debuted as a hip-hop group, and they still are. BTS explores various music genres, featuring three rappers and four vocalists. They boast the most talented rappers on this planet. ; they actively write and produce their music, placing them on another level of artistry. If you want more from the rap line I recommand [UGH :live performance with eng sub ] For all the BTS group : BLACK SWAN / ON KINETTIC MANEFESTO / FIRE / NOT TODAY /
@@ElmsauceI think part of why you didn't connect with this performance was the story behind the song and the lyrics. SUGA, one of the rappers, wrote this song when BTS was considering disbanding. He showed shared this song with the members and they all cried, It's so hard to follow the lyrics in the video cause they rap so fast. ARMY loves this performance because of the back story and they can feel the emotions of RM, SUGA and J-Hope. If you get a chance, look at the lyrics and watch the performance later. Might even be better after you get to know the members better. 💜💜💜
listen to the studio version, the instrumental is crazy, wich doesnt come through in a live. If you write OUTRO:TEAR lyric video in youtube, you get the studio version with Just the lyrics. Do it on youre own time if theres no time for reaction.
1 - he's new. Obviously he's not going to understand the history. 2 - they rap too fast for most to keep up with...especially when you're not used to reading subtitles in the first place.
ARMY: please be a little more picky and stop giving people like this views and attention. My god, the bar is in hell. This dude is so unserious. He saw 2 vids (SNTY and Mic Drop) immediately hopped on the clout train by going to Stray Kids (and titled his video, “better than BTS?” 🤮, and now is posting this, saying he didn’t know they rapped….. 1. After watching them rap in Mic Drop….. 2. You’re gonna tell me no one mentioned they rap in his comments under the other videos. On top of that, comments are saying he is complaining about them not singing in English, won’t check out the lyrics, for some reason doesn’t know what language they’re speaking (???), and is trashing this song. Like, what about any of this makes it seem like he is someone who could get into BTS? Move on friends, stop giving people like this clout and attention. It’s extremely embarrassing for us as a fandom. There are a million other reactors. Let me know if you want suggestions for good ones.
Oh and apparently he also can’t tell there are 3 people on stage instead of 2????? You have to have a certain level of intelligence to understand BTS music, I’m not sure someone who can’t count 3 people qualifies.
Why are you hating if you actually watch my videos you will see that everything you said doesn’t make sense. 1. I’m new to bts 2. I react to what the comments requested (in beginning of the video) 3. I’m just reacting and I’m great at it, you are one of few of my negative comments. I’m not chasing clout but I am I smart enough to realize my views will grow if I react to what my subs say. Have a good day I deserve all the clout and attention I’ve EARNED
@@Elmsauce first of all, I’m plenty willing to be helpful to people just getting into BTS and needing guidance. That is in no way what is happening here. You’re not actually willing to pay attention to anything anyone is willing to tell you, which is obvious based off all the points I made above. Secondly, ARMYs, who by nature love to guide new people in their BTS journey, being nice to you in the comments and trying to (fruitlessly) help you understand is not the same as you doing a great job. Putting on a video and then saying a bunch of ignorant sh*t is not you being great. You haven’t “earned” anything, and you’re literally proving my point. Also, this comment wasn’t for you, it was for other ARMYs who come to check out your vids so they know not to watch your vids. Be healthy bro ✌️.
i think you dont know them enough to see the depth behind this live performance and their emotions.. thats okay if.. but this performance is incredible..the lyricsm is inane! it gives me goosebumbs everytime.. thank you for your bts reaction (rap line)
8:44 Their full English songs are Dynamite, Butter, and Permission to Dance. The first two you probably have heard, you just didn't realize it was BTS. The English songs are not an accurate representation of their music and lyric style because they were released during isolation from Covid to be lighthearted uplifting songs. They're more pop, but they do have great rhythm if you listen to live versions. Jungkook's solo album is entirely English. Jimin released one of his solo songs in English (Like Crazy - there should be a live performance on a talk show). There's also the one I mentioned in my other post, Bad Decisions. It takes a bit, but you'll get used to listening to the Korean songs. If it makes it easier, watch a lyric video first to understand the lyrics. Then when you watch the music video, you can focus on what you're seeing. It's an option. 😊
The black fit was designed by Dior for them. They wore this drip on The Map of the Soul Tour in 2018. I was lucky enough to see this show at Soldier Field in Chicago. I’m ARMY Mom, took my daughter and it was an experience of a lifetime. They put on a great show, true artists💜💜💜💜
There are 7 not 5 but this is just the 3 Rappers they sometimes break down into their 2 sub units for certain tracks. so you have their Leader RM first then J Hope then Suga(aka Agust D). This is what they wrote when they talked about breaking up because they were all emotionally and physically worn out in 2018 The 3 Rappers wrote what that would mean to them then Suga played it for the group and they all cried and decided they couldn't disband. Okay you have RM, Suga (aka Agust D), J Hope all Rappers and 4 Vocalist eg Jin, Jungkook, V and Jimin. Oh and they all rapped when they debuted in 2013
It is great to see new people checking BTS out. Especially their amazing rap line. It will be a huge learning curve for you and many others I think. Have fun! I am glad you enjoyed this one.
Early in their career they only sang Korean and Japanese. Jungkook’s whole album was English. They have English songs but they have fans all over the world so English isn’t a necessity. We watch the videos so much we understand the meanings.
My bias is RM (the first one who raps )he's the main rapper, composer and songwriter of the group with more than 215 songs credits under his name , he's also the leader and the reason the CEO of their company decided to form the band ,BTS wouldn't be here without him 💙please check out his solo songs Joke ,Persona , Wildflower,Still life
BTS: Bangtan Sonyeondan , aka Bulletproof Boy Scouts, aka Beyond Stereotypes, the name has progressively evolved. Now just BTS. And ARMY is the fandom. In my opinion the best fandom of all time. BTS consist of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. There’s a lot to explain. But i encourage you to go watch their documentary videos and familiarize yourself with the group and it’s wonderful 7 members. One documentary i can suggest to you is the Taylor Guide to BTS. You will appreciate each member as they combine to make this once in a lifetime group. Unlike any other groups in our history, BTS individual members can hold their own as soloists. Happy journey!! 💜
Lyrics are important. Without reading BTS members lyrics, you will never be able to fully appreciate them as musicians. RAP is all about Lyrics. The verses should be the focus and the music adds to it. This is a live stadium performance. There will be no special effects. Its a raw performance. You want English songs? Why? They have about 300 korean songs. BTS have 7 members who do 7 different genres of music.
BTW this black fits are all Dior! How cool. We love the rap line as much as the vocal line. They are amazing rappers, musicians, producers, singers, dancers..... I could say actors, MC´s..... and more. Bangtan Sonyeondan is their name: Bulletproof Boyscouts. ARMY is Adorable Representatives MC for Youth. 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. They do some rap unit songs, some vocal line songs and solo songs with BTS and then they each have solo projects.
BTS has 7 members. They share the spotlight, sometimes doing solos or duets like this. Very versatile, talented guys, and each has there own solo albums.
I recommend Born Singer Proof Live performance. It’s a cover of J Cole’s Born Sinner but in their own words. I know you asked for all English but the best songs are in Korean. Not to down grade Dynamite, Butter and Permission to dance (they’re still great songs). I also recommend BTS Black Swan.
They are rapping in their language Korean. They put some English in all their songs but mostly their language. BTS started as a hip-hop group. They always had rap. You can read the subtitles that are in English. That's what we do. There are 7 members.
2023 was all about each BTS member exploring their unique styles before entering the S Korean military for 18 months. Jin - ballad singer, did a song with Cold Play "Astronaut" All 3 of the rappers have solo albums. RM, Suga/Agust D, and J-Hope J-Hope "More" and with J Cole "On The Street" Agust D - Haegeum RM - "Wild Flower" V - blues and R&B - "Slow Dancing" Jimin - Pop with a twist. His MV's are all about his dancing. "Set Me Free" Jungkook - solid Pop all in English. His collab with Usher is amazing. "Standing Next to You"
Thanks for you quite thought-provoking reaction. You asked some questions - I'll react to them - and reciprocate for you! :) Korean/English. They are a Korean band, so of course they sing in Korean, but I think they were (among) the first Korean band to feature English phrases in all their songs. They do have some all-English songs, released during lockdown to cheer up the millions of people around the world who were struggling. Initially I hated them but now I actually understand the real point of them being much simpler for folk at a hard time, and I love them. However I do greatly prefer their Korean material. BTS' music is deep, meaningful and thoughtful - that is why I like them. Many times you'll initially think a song is simple and then look into it a little more, and realise it's actually not. Many times their rap is like this, but it applies across the board. I HATED Anpanman and GoGo when I first heard them, thinking them just like some of the trite mindless pop of the '70s - but they are both actually much starker. BTS is one of the only bands I've heard who use satire and irony as much as they do, and include so many cultural references and word play. It's very clever, but you do have to be willing to do a bit of learning! But - oh - it's SO Worth It! There are 7 members of BTS, and this is a sub-group. They have vocal line and rap line songs, solos, duets etc. You're right - every personality in BTS is very different, but they are incredibly close. But they are real: they also fought - a lot - and they tell us about those fights sometimes, and laugh at themselves and each other. They talk about their eccentricities and oddities, too. RM used to snore mercilessly (he had surgery to correct a deviated septum), is a danger in the kitchen, and his members asked him not to drive for the sake of world peace. JK bought a mattress that was too big, but instead of replacing it he used scissors to cut it to fit: he folds his laundry and keeps it on the dining table, and now has a mattress in every room in his house - and so on... Outro: Tear : when they wrote this they were thinking of the time when they were all facing burn out and were very frightened about the future. They had had no breaks (not one day off) for more than 5 years). The song is full of their fear and pain. They asked for time to think, and had (I think) 2 weeks off. Many travelled round Korea and visited for trips with their family. Big Hit (their agency) asked fans not to reveal their location if they saw them in the wild. They didn't and they didn't approach them but left them in peace. 💜 When they made speeches accepting one of their major awards the next season, Hobi was in such tears that he could almost not speak at all, (they all wept) but they have always been extremely transparent about their hard times as well as their fun. Another reason why they are loved. Life for them looks glamorous, but it's actually not really - it's hard hard work and often very lonely. as they say themselves, thank goodness they are seven! Performance : I'm not sure what you were looking for either, but I can tell you that they are even better live than in the MVs. Perhaps the video quality does affect this - I don't think the sound quality on this is very good either. You asked about ARMY. Of course you likely know that BTS fanbase are called ARMY. The acronym stands for Adorable Representative MC for Youth - called this in the hope that fans, like BTS, will stand up for and protect young people who are too often criticised and put down. Many of us dislike the acronym (though I like the name ARMY). RM recently said he thinks a more appropriate meaning for ArMy is A-reum-da-woon Mi-seong), or “Beautiful Voice/s”, because when they do concerts, ARMY sings so much. I prefer this, too.
The last rapper singing (J-Hope) has a solo song with J Cole too... really a fire song with Cole spazzing on that song 🔥 and J Hope named his first solo album "Hopeworld" in honour of "Coleworld" by j cole... so he did the collab with his dream idol ❤
Something "could have been better"? You say, "It's like I cannot even understand what they are saying half the time, I just kind of got to feel their energy". Yet how many times did your head turn from the lyrics on the screen? If this was a foreign film, would you do the same saying something could have been better, "It's like I cannot even understand what they are saying half the time, I just kind of got to feel their energy". I respect your judgements but question the validity of judgements that something "could have been better" when the lyrics are only being marginally engaged and when an excuse which justifies that derives from one's own's inability as opposed to deficiencies by the artist. Emotion in performance is obscured if words are not engaged.
I have two screen playing the video, also I did read the lyrics but it’s hard to focus on the lyrics and the performance so I focus more on the video so I don’t miss details. Also I said they performed well but obviously no performance is perfect
@@Elmsauce This video is live concert footage, not a music video. There aren't going to be special effects like there would be in a music video if that's what you were looking for. But that concert had laser lights and I believe a live orchestra. Did you notice the live classical music as the drop for this song. BTS rappers write all their own lyrics and produce the songs themselves. The size, emotions, and intensity of that stadium should show you no one, and I mean NO ONE performs on stage at the level of BTS. When it's just the rap line, it's JUST the rapline--no hype men, no backup people covering bars when the rapper is out of breath like you often see in American rap concerts. BTS rapline will move around that entire stage, engage with the crowd, never miss a bar, speed rap, change cadence, change flow, and switch from mumble rap to drill to stutter rap all in the same song, sometimes just in one person's part. Outro:Tear is a powerful song from the rapline to the rest of the members during a very crucial time when the group was considering disbanding. The rapline's lyrical content is always top tier, you will always learn something, but this song, the emotions and plea from those three members in it, and all of ARMY facing in real time the potential disbanding of the biggest group on the planet--all set against epic classical music fit for the biggest box office action movie ever! Outro: Tear is an absolute MASTERPIECE!
@@femmefatale6550dude why even educate this guy who uses kpop as means to gain clout. He needs do a research on his own if he is genuinely interested in kpop. Stop spoonfeeding these kind of ppl.
More BTS SONGS SINCE YOU LIKE HIP-HOP: •Hip-Hop Lover/Phile- BTS song about their rap influences from old school rappers to recent ones,2015 •RUN BTS by BTS-2022,check out the concert or choreography video!!! •Born Singer- It’s the BTS adaptation of J. Cole’s Born Sinner they wrote in 2013 but J.Cole gave them permission to release it officially in 2022 •Just One Day-2014, more r&b and soft rap but I thought I should include it bc everyone suddenly learns how to sing in Korean bc it’s so catchy!! Haha There’s so much more BTS songs that are hip hop influenced and solo work as well. This is just a good starter list if you like hip hop!!!!
u cant say i dont know what theyre saying and expect more english when reacting to a video which specifically has english transltion for u. i was expecting more from ur reaction....
Also remember that doolset has eng lyrics for most songs. Also there are usually Eng subtitles on the video. Then there are also explanation videos for most songs.
Ya damn right they rap. I'll even say that Suga and RM SHITS on 95% of the rappers in the West. If westerners can get past the language barrier, they'd agree with me too.
You (& all 1st time reactors)need to do a little research about the group 1st (just reacting to an unknown act, singing in a different language is difficult) but once you understand the group & understand the lyrics you will appreciate their talent. BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) means bulletproof boy scouts - to block out stereotypes, criticism, & expectations aimed at young people like bullets. BTS are a little different from most kpop acts & we ARMY ( name of BTS fandom) love them. Im 70 years old, & almost always have to find the English translations, but i just love their music. Thanks for listening.
You did your best to understand the song I guess but if you take the song title 'Tear' it has two meanings. One is to tore apart and the second is the tears that comes out from our eyes as a result of strong emotions such as pain. I can't explain the whole song word by word but I need to say BTS are on a different level when it's comes to lyrics and wordplay. No hate to you but there is so much depth to these lyrics but its a shame most people doesn't even try to learn or try to understand other languages. Good luck on your journey and hope you have a great time discovering BTS with a more open mind.
Check the Rap line... BTS Cyphers 1, 2, 3, & 4 RM - Joke, Do You, Persona, Seoul, Trivia: Love, Closer Suga (Agust D) - Daechwita, Seesaw (live performance), Moonlight J Hope - Day Dream, Airplane, Chicken Noodle Soup, Outro: Ego, More BTS songs that have an r&b vibe... Jimin - Serendipity, Filter (live performance) V - Singularity, Love Me Again, For Us Jungkook - Euphoria, My Time, Still With You BTS - Black Swan, Home (Jimmy Fallon performance), Make It Right feat Lauv, Dimple live performance
Of course they Rapp they are basic in Hip Hop. They are 3 Rappers and 4 vocalists. All 3 Rappers were part of the underground Hip Hop Scene before they were BTS. RM and Suga both as Rappers and Suga also produced beats for himself and others while J Hope was A street Dancer before he learnt to Rap. All 3 are also Song Writers, Composers and Producers in fact all 7 members are Song writers, Composers and Producers each to a greater or lesser extent. Oh yes Suga (aka Agust D) is also an awarding winning Producer.
There are 3 guys on the stage, RM, Suga, and J-Hope. They are the rappers in BTS. BTS has 7 members in total, the other 4 members are vocalists. Apart from songs with all 7 members, there are subunit songs with just the vocalists, or just the rappers (like this cypher). And there are also solo songs with just one member. And they are Korean. BTS stands for the groups name in Korean (BangTanSonyeondan, or bullet proof boy scouts when translated into English). Army is the name of their fandom. It stands for Adorable Representative MC for Youth. I’d say a lot of their songs mix up Korean and English lyrics, and it’s not a problem. I’d recommend that you take the time to read and understand the lyrics of their songs, there is always a lot of meaning and depth. And especially when you know more about their history, the lyrics become even deeper. If you like rap, try some of the other cyphers they have done, or songs like ‘Ugh!’ or ‘Ddaeng’.
you don't wanna go down this rabbithole 🤣💜 Army 'Adorable Representative M.C for Youth' and BTS (Bangtan Sonyondan/ Behind The Scene/ Bring The Soul etc. forever.
They include English into their lyrics just like many other foreign artists do so they can gain more western audience. Also I think it helps to create better music in that to be able to rhyme Korean with English words and still make sense is talent. Plus it gives more variety to the music that everyone can be able to enjoy. Also KPop artist also sing in Japanese as well and there are many foreign KPop artists who speak many other languages like Spanish, Chinese, Indian, Thai and more since they are not all Korean singers. Like KPop singer Samuel who is from Argentina and speaks Spanish as well as Korean and english. Plus in Korean students all take English classes anyways.
1:27 BangTan Sonyeondan (BTS) which means bulletproof boy scouts. If you want to hear them pronounce Bangtan Sonyeondan, they say it a few times in the song Attack on Bangtan. They also introduce themselves in their debut song No More Dream, but they are so young and their look has changed so much, it's not much help for later videos. 1:30 It's their fans. It stands for Adorable Representative MC for Youth. Over the years the meaning gets changed for several of their acronyms. For instance, I believe they said BTS can also stand for Beyond the Scene (not sure I got that correct) and RM, the group leader (the first one rapping in this video), changed the meaning of his name from Rap Monster to Real Me. I believe he said that because he put so much of himself in his lyrics. 4:21 The second rapper is J-Hope. 4:37 The third is Suga also known as Agust D. The other four are the vocal line. Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, and V. They have a few only vocal line songs out. You can check them out in either Butterfly, Dimple, or Zero O'Clock. If you would prefer an English song, the vocal line sang on a Bad Bunny song with Snoop Dogg called Bad Decisions. The official music video only shows Bad Bunny, but there's some behind the scenes footage where you can see the guys.
Asking for our full government name when you barely know us & I know someone in these comments has given it too. 😐 It’s 7 members total 3 are rappers & 4 are vocalists. They do have some English songs but their Korean songs are a better representation of their talents as writers, producers, & performers.
@@Elmsauce I’m sorry it’s a joke we often say when someone asks what ARMY means. Text is weird sometimes people get it sometimes they don’t. I didn’t mean to sound rude. Oh no I just realized I put 😐 when I meant to put 😂 no wonder you didn’t read it as a joke 🫣🫠🤦♀️
ARMY stands for Adorable Representative MC for Youth btw. BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan (“Bulletproof Boy Scouts”), in that they help youth overcome struggles and expectations that are aimed at the younger gen like bullets.
Dude you saw Mic Drop already…how are you surprised they rap? What did you think they were doing in Mic Drop? Do you even know enough about music to have a reaction channel…?
They speak Korean. BTS stands for Beyond the Scene. Their fandom is called Army, so each fan is an Army. I think most Korean groups give their fandom a name-Black Pink’s fans are called Blinks, Stray Kids fans are called Stays. The third guy to rap is Suga, he is one of the fastest rappers in the world. There are seven members but these three are the ‘Rap line’.
They are Korean they also speak Japanese and English. They due all kinds of music and dance. And we are Army millions and millions of fans worldwide. There are 7 members. Check out the story of BTS. Watch On Kenetic Manifesto also turn on cc so you can read the words. Check out a live performance their last Busan concert was great.
there's 7 members total in BTS there's only 3 in this stage because it's a rap song realesed by rapline in BTS this three are suga aka agust d rap monster (RM) and jhope BTS stands for bangtan senyeondan witch is a phrase in korean that means ( bulletproof boys scouts ) ARMY stands for ( adorable representative mc for youth)
Hi, there are 3 guys on the stage , the 3 rappers of BTS. 1st was RM. 2nd was Jhope. 3rd was Suga It is just these 3 performing this track, but the other 4 are vocalists. Jin, Jimin, V and Jungkook. They did a few all English songs, none are exclusvely rap songs. Butter Dynamite Permission to dance. Most fans (Army) consider their Korean or Korean/English songs to be more authentically BTS. Mostly they mix rap and singing together Mic drop, Steve Aoki remix. Idol. Mikrokosmos. Hip jop lover. A few and varied choices to get started, or a quick medley of a few songs Festa room live 2021. Enjoy......
B= Bang T= tan S= Son-yeondan BTS = Bulletproof Boyscouts A= Adorable R= Representatives M= M.C (master of ceremony) for Y= Youth They are South Korean but speak Korean, English, and Japanese.
BTS have 7 members. there's 3 RAP LINE (Suga, RM, J-hope) that you reacted this time. and 4 VOCAL LINE (V, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook). you HAVE TO WATCH all of their song
BTS Bangtan Sonyeondan (Bulletproof Boyscouts) They sing in Korean because they are from Korea. 80% of their songs are in Korean...that's the point. They write/co-write and produce all of their own music. They always have English subtitles so you can follow along. We like to watch new videos twice: once to just watch, then the second time to read the lyrics...it's too hard to do both at the same time. This song is particularly meaningful to BTS and Army (the name of their fans) ...please do some research, you won't be disappointed. BTS has been together for 10 years + and have over 300 songs. 😊 Thank you for your reaction, please post more.
Doesn’t it make you want to learn what all the lyrics are translated to in English? And to learn some Korean? If they can rhyme in 3 or more languages it makes it so much more versatile! They are from South Korea, so they speak Korean and they also know a good deal of Japanese which they have several songs and albums in as well. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists in this group, and you are only seeing the rap line here. Although all 7 of the guys can both rap and sing. They have been a supergroup for over 10 years and have recorded a huge catalog of songs in multiple music genres: hip hop, Pop, rock, Jazz, R&B, ballads, EDM, battle style rap, Latin pop, and more. BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondon in Korean, which is Bulletproof Boyscouts in English. They rebranded it to also mean Beyond the Scene. ARMY is the name of their fandom, and is an acronym for Adorable Representative MC for Youth. Thank you for giving BTS a chance. I hope you will keep listening to more of their discography.💜
1 - K-Pop (Korean Pop - which is usually more than "just" pop) is big on "units". Sometimes referred to as "lines". In BTS, we have the Rap Line (RM, Suga, and J-Hope), the Vocal Line (Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook), the Dance Line (J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook), the 94 Line (RM and J-Hope, both born in 1994), the 95 Line (Jimin and V, both in 1995), etc. "Units" refers more to the unique pairings, trios, etc. strictly when singing/rapping together. Jin and V have a "unit" song, Jimin and Jungkook have a couple unit songs, etc. 2 - Once you get your ear trained to the Korean lyrics, you need to listen closely. A lot of time, when they switch from Korean to English and vice versa, they're actually rhyming the languages together. So, you may hear "gae" (sounds like "gay", Korean for "dog") at the end of a Korean line, then they'll end the following - English - line with "day", "say", "may", "lay", etc.
Best rapline in Kpop industry. They are untouchables. Joke. Do you. Monster Strange ... Rm Daechwita AgustD Give it to me... . Suga Vaseline Chikeen noodle soup More. Arson ... Jhope.
BTS is a group of 7 members. The 3 you see on this video is the rap line: SUGA, RM, and J Hope. ARMY is BTS' fanbase. BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeodan = Bulletproof Boyscouts. They speak Korean. They are from Korea. A video to watch on them is this one I recommend to new ARMY's. I've been ARMY since 2015. Here's the video about them: ruclips.net/video/huV_yIdxZPY/видео.htmlsi=Ikv92fhXPluvK55M
Hi, I am back. Nice reaction, ty. They are rapping in Korean. BTS are a Korean band. They also sing in Eng as u know and they sing in Japanese as well. =0] BTS have 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. So yes they rap. BTS on debut were a hip hop group. They love rap. The rapline rap better than the others but i like all their songs. Their sound work for me. Kpop wave started with MJs music coming to Korea. So they have been incorporating Eng for many years. All groups and solo singers will have Eng lyrics in their songs. Some more so than others. The rapline are 3 members not 2. Ur not counting correctly. This is a great song because its emotional to us. This might be an ok song for u since ur new and clueless. BTS are a 7 member group. Yes, they have Eng songs. Dynamite, Butter, Permission to Dance. Jk the youngest member just dropped an all Eng album(Seven MV, Standing Next to you MV, 3D MV, hate you visualizer). Bad Decisions with Snoop Dog is Eng. Waste it On me by Steve Aoki ft. BTS is Eng too. Lilith by Halsey ft. Suga of BTS Eng too. Jk has Eng covers on here. There are Xmas covers by V all Eng. So lots to check out and see if u are vibing with that. This song talks about them breaking up. It is a heartbreak song. When Suga was rapping did u see he was acting like he kept getting punched. The acting, dang. Dior BTS is everything. Suga is so swaggy. RM so cute and Hobi 0.0. Jimin bias, Suga wrecker and OT7. But after this song Army were dead!!! I hope u rewatch this and read the lyrics. Such a powerful song. It is intense. It is passionate. It is truth spoken out loud and thank god never fulfilled. So much feels. Love it. The stage mix is fine too hope u check it out as well as their other stages of this song. Suga is the main producer in BTS. RM is the 2nd producer. Hugs. -2019 Army NY USA💜 Suga said: "the lyrics for Tear were written for the members. When I was writing the melody, at the time, we were deeply contemplating whether we should quit or not. When I played the song for the members we all cried together". Also RM is saying "Tear" as in crying and Suga as in ripping something apart. Imajin All The Purple said on 2/25/23 They actually hid a third meaning of tear in the song: Suga says T.E.A.R. which is a coping mechanism for loss: T - To accept the reality of the loss E - Experience the pain of the loss A - Adjust to the new environment without the lost person R - Reinvest in the new reality They are lyrical kings indeed! 💜 andreza said on 2/25/23 I REALLY recommend you guys to watch their speech at the 2018 MAMA Award Show when they won Artist Of The Year. All songs have deep or even double meanings. That's the reason why ARMY's 💜LOVE💜 the lyrics of every song. BTS have a music storyline (BU content/fictional story) that might be too much to digest for someone who is new to BTS. Imagine how many of us are learning stuffs like psychology, going through books, making up theories here and there. They have lots of songs (abt 300). They have Korean albums and Japanese albums. There are mixtapes, cyphers, solos, covers, commercials, collaborations, amazing LIVE performances, OST, storyline, Webtoon, own variety shows like Bon Voyage, Run BTS (more than 100 episodes), Burn the stage, ... The members also have anime characters of themselves called the "Tiny Tan". Also another cute bunch of characters that they created called BT21. Advise: ARMYs tend to get excited once they find your channel and start requesting to react to the epic, LIVE performance or Award shows. Do note, try not to watch the LIVE performance (such as MAMA OR MMA the award shows) too soon. In my opinion, Live performances are best watched once you have seen the mv itself or at least know the songs before you see LIVE version . That way, your journey will be a lot more fulfilling/worthwhile.
Did you really say you don't know what language they're singing? You do understand that they are South Korean right? They are singing in Korean. They have some songs in Japanese but that sounds completely different. A lot of their songs are a combination of English and Korean as well. RM and Suga were well known in the underground rap scene in S. Korea Even before they were signed to BTS. You will probably enjoy their ciphers 1-4.
BTS has 7 members, 3 rappers and 4 vocalist. This was just the rap line (RM, Suga and JHope). This performance was AWESOME!!! I suggest you view the Guide to BTS by Taylor to understand each and every member, how they started, what each member brings to the group, etc. Thank!
Most Korean artists throw in the occasional English word or phrase in their music. Surely, you've noticed that in songs from other groups? I'm a little confused, though. Why listen to music from another country, where English is not the main language, if you want to listen to your music in English? Before Covid, BTS didn't have a single full English song and they'd been producing music for 7 years already. Some of the members will put out all English songs as solo projects, but as a group, there are only the three songs that were meant to provide comfort during Covid. Most of BTS doesn't speak English. Why should their songs be in English? That's why there are subtitles on most of their videos. So that people who don't speak Korean can still understand what they are saying. There are also lyric videos which just have the audio of the song and then the lyrics in Korean, Korean using English letters, and English. The lyrics aren't always accurate, but you'd at least get a general idea of what's being said. A lot of the appeal of BTS is their deep lyrics. You're missing out on a lot if you don't check out the lyrics.
If you knew BTS you would understand and enjoy this more, I think. You don't know what you don't know though. Suga said about “Outro: Tear” that it was dedicated to his members and inspired by BTS almost-disbanding. Goodbye to me is T.E.A.R Because things like tears are a luxury Such a thing as a beautiful goodbye Won’t exist, so please start now - Suga, “Outro: Tear”
OMG!! This guy is killing me. It's K-Pop ~ Korean Pop..it's not that hard to put two and two together, LOL! 😂 Also, yes you did know they can rap because of your previous reaction to them, to Mic Drop, say otherwise and you should know this because 95% of that song was rap..are you deaf or something in just now thinking of finding out that they can rap..they've been doing that since your reaction to Mic Drop..it's like you don't even know the difference between rap and vocals at this point, lol.
ARMY don’t give him the intelligent and deep songs as recommendations. He doesn’t care about lyrics or rap performance. Recommend the easy listening ENGLISH-ONLY bubble gun pop songs. I think that’s what he’s looking for.
The are 7 members 3 rappers and 4 singers. This is just the rap line Rm, SUGA and J Hope.
Rapper are also singer say vocalist
You had the subtitles but didn't read them. That's how you understand what they're saying. You said you want to expand your music taste, you shouldn't limit yourself to English songs only. You'll miss out on some great music. 💜
also to fully understand the lirycs it's good to know the context of the song. Outro Tear was written when they were considering disbanding (?? im not 100% sure) but i bet that if you ask Armys on twt then they'll surely answer your questions. (sorry if i made any mistakes, im a lil dyslecitx)
@@_furia1202yes it was at that moment
This is the Rap Line: RM, Suga, and JHope. The vocalists are: JK, Jimin, V, & Jin. If you like versatility please check out the 2021 Fest Room Live.
@@WhalienDNA this is the only video I've watched, once I saw that better than BTS video title I was done

they don’t just rap…they got the best rapline in all of kpop.
You know a kpop groups going hard when they have REAL rappers, rappers who write their own music
Agree! 💜
@@Itzzy515 ❤ Deshalb gebe bei "solchen" Reaktoren, aber auch bei offensichtlichen Fake Video nur einen 👎Daumen runter!
Dude thats why there are closed captions on the screen so you can read what they are saying via the English subtitles
If you want more from the rap line I recommand [UGH :live performance with eng sub ]
For all the BTS group : BLACK SWAN / ON KINETTIC MANEFESTO / FIRE / NOT TODAY /
This was a heartfelt song, which was live, I think it was amazing, don't see how it could have been better.
Maybe because I’m watching through a screen lol great performance though
You reacted to MIC DROP. How did you not know they rap?
He's full of it.
He's poaching views bc he's new 😖
This was a very personal and emotional song for them. Didn’t you read the lyrics? It is perfect the way it is. Oh god I miss them 😭
1 - he's new.
TY....you said everything I wanted to say....he's just poaching views!!! 💜
HELPPPP ITS NOT THAT SERIOUS. DONT YALL JAVE SOMETHING BETTER TO DO?😭😂 THIS WAS A GREAT REACTION🙏
i think you dont know them enough to see the depth behind this live performance and their emotions.. thats okay if.. but this performance is incredible..the lyricsm is inane! it gives me goosebumbs everytime.. thank you for your bts reaction (rap line)
Jimin sang English version on the TOnight Show
“They rap” is such an understatement lol
The black fit was designed by Dior for them. They wore this drip on The Map of the Soul Tour in 2018. I was lucky enough to see this show at Soldier Field in Chicago. I’m ARMY Mom, took my daughter and it was an experience of a lifetime. They put on a great show, true artists💜💜💜💜
No, it was their love yourself tour their map of the soul tour was canceled bc of covid.
Their speaking Korean,Kim namjoon (rm the leader of bts) is the most fluent in English because he learned it from f.r.i.e.n.d.s.
Early in their career they only sang Korean and Japanese. Jungkook’s whole album was English. They have English songs but they have fans all over the world so English isn’t a necessity. We watch the videos so much we understand the meanings.
A rap line do BTS é incrível 🔥
"Beyond Stereotypes" is not correct. Apparently at one point it meant "Beyond The Scene" but RM later denounced that notion.
ARMY is our fandom name. We are literally an army of support and love for BTS and ARMY is acronym, meaning Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth💜
RM and Suga were part of the underground rap in SKorea.
J-Hope learned to rap when he joined the company. He was a street dancer.
Their English song are great songs too! We are just used to heavier topics/lyrics and you get that in their Korean songs.
@@Hotshortie Yes that’s why I said those songs are still great.
Jin - ballad singer, did a song with Cold Play "Astronaut"
All 3 of the rappers have solo albums. RM, Suga/Agust D, and J-Hope
J-Hope "More" and with J Cole "On The Street"
Agust D - Haegeum
RM - "Wild Flower"
V - blues and R&B - "Slow Dancing"
Jimin - Pop with a twist. His MV's are all about his dancing. "Set Me Free"
Jungkook - solid Pop all in English. His collab with Usher is amazing. "Standing Next to You"
Thanks for you quite thought-provoking reaction. You asked some questions - I'll react to them - and reciprocate for you! :)
Korean/English.
Yes you trippin
The last rapper singing (J-Hope) has a solo song with J Cole too... really a fire song with Cole spazzing on that song 🔥 and J Hope named his first solo album "Hopeworld" in honour of "Coleworld" by j cole... so he did the collab with his dream idol ❤

I agree definitely time for this guide.
You reacted to mic drop over a week ago and you don't know they rap? Disingenuous.
This Song is of the rap line is iconic BTS have the rap line 3 members the vocal line 4 members BTS the Best Group of the World
this is the rap line and there are 7 members 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. you have the vocal line and the rap line as well.
This is just the rappers for this song.
More BTS SONGS SINCE YOU LIKE HIP-HOP:
•Hip-Hop Lover/Phile- BTS song about their rap influences from old school rappers to recent ones,2015
•RUN BTS by BTS-2022,check out the concert or choreography video!!!
•Born Singer- It’s the BTS adaptation of J. Cole’s Born Sinner they wrote in 2013 but J.Cole gave them permission to release it officially in 2022
•Just One Day-2014, more r&b and soft rap but I thought I should include it bc everyone suddenly learns how to sing in Korean bc it’s so catchy!! Haha
There’s so much more BTS songs that are hip hop influenced and solo work as well. This is just a good starter list if you like hip hop!!!!
If u like rap, check out Ugh, Ddaeng and Cypher pt 1-4
7 not 5 and you dont need to understand it to enjoy but watch twice one with lyrics..ambulancechaser😂😂
u cant say i dont know what theyre saying and expect more english when reacting to a video which specifically has english transltion for u. i was expecting more from ur reaction....
Omg, i love how clueless this guy is. Love it. Love your reaction broooo
3 rappers and 4 vocalist but not all songs have all 7 members. Bangtan Boys.

2 members came from undergroun rap Rm and Suga, J-Hope the danceleader, learn to rap when he joined Bts whid help from Rm and Suga
BTS has a vocal line and a rap line. J-Hope, Suga, and RM are in the rap line. Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are vocal line
you don't wanna go down this rabbithole 🤣💜 Army 'Adorable Representative M.C for Youth' and BTS (Bangtan Sonyondan/ Behind The Scene/ Bring The Soul etc.
It’s 7 members total 3 are rappers & 4 are vocalists. They do have some English songs but their Korean songs are a better representation of their talents as writers, producers, & performers.
What?
"full government name" ????

They are the rap line of the complete members of BTS: RM, JHope, and Suga. BTS has 7 members, so the rest of the guys are Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
Jhopes verse is my favorite I love it sm
"ARMY" is the fan base. Adorable Representative of Youth.
I like them for their live performances. So much better than their music videos.
You need to listen to Cypher 4... That is the one you're looking for.
7 guys, 4 vocalists and 3 rappers.
They are Korean they also speak Japanese and English. They due all kinds of music and dance. And we are Army millions and millions of fans worldwide. There are 7 members. Check out the story of BTS. Watch On Kenetic Manifesto also turn on cc so you can read the words. Check out a live performance their last Busan concert was great.
there's 7 members total in BTS
there's only 3 in this stage because it's a rap song realesed by rapline in BTS this three are suga aka agust d
rap monster (RM) and jhope
BTS stands for bangtan senyeondan witch is a phrase in korean that means ( bulletproof boys scouts )
ARMY stands for ( adorable representative mc for youth)
This song was performed by the three rappers; RM, Suga, and J-Hope. Each have their own unique voice.
BTS have 4 vocalist and 3 rappers, this song is rap line's so only 3 rappers that perform
The rapline crushed this.
Hi, there are 3 guys on the stage , the 3 rappers of BTS.
1st was RM.
2nd was Jhope.
3rd was Suga
It is just these 3 performing this track, but the other 4 are vocalists.
Jin, Jimin, V and Jungkook.
They did a few all English songs, none are exclusvely rap songs.

BTS have 7 members.
there's 3 RAP LINE (Suga, RM, J-hope) that you reacted this time.
and 4 VOCAL LINE (V, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook).
you HAVE TO WATCH all of their song
BTS Bangtan Sonyeondan
(Bulletproof Boyscouts)
They sing in Korean because they are from Korea.
Thank you for your reaction, please post more.
This 3 is the rapline, then we have 4 vocalist, sometimes the rapline do there thing and the vocalist do there thing
Pssst...Click CC to turn on the English Subtitles to understand everything they're saying, singing and spitting.

Hugs. -2019 Army NY USA💜
Suga said: "the lyrics for Tear were written for the members. When I was writing the melody, at the time, we were deeply contemplating whether we should quit or not. When I played the song for the members we all cried together".
Also RM is saying "Tear" as in crying and Suga as in ripping something apart.
Imajin All The Purple said on 2/25/23
They actually hid a third meaning of tear in the song: Suga says T.E.A.R. which is a coping mechanism for loss:
T - To accept the reality of the loss
E - Experience the pain of the loss
A - Adjust to the new environment without the lost person
R - Reinvest in the new reality
They are lyrical kings indeed! 💜

All songs have deep or even double meanings. That's the reason why ARMY's 💜LOVE💜 the lyrics of every song.
BTS have a music storyline
(BU content/fictional story) that might be too much to digest for someone who is new to BTS. Imagine how many of us are learning stuffs like psychology, going through books, making up theories here and there.
They have lots of songs (abt 300).
They have Korean albums and Japanese albums.
There are mixtapes, cyphers, solos, covers, commercials, collaborations,
amazing LIVE performances, OST, storyline, Webtoon,
own variety shows like
Bon Voyage, Run BTS (more than 100 episodes), Burn the stage, ...
The members also have anime characters of themselves called the "Tiny Tan".
Also another cute bunch of characters that they created called BT21.
Advise:
ARMYs tend to get excited once they find your channel and start requesting to react to the epic, LIVE performance or Award shows.
Thank you for reacting to BTS....Army's
u really live under rock😂
Army is the name of their fanbase
If you knew BTS you would understand and enjoy this more, I think. You don't know what you don't know though. Suga said about “Outro: Tear” that it was dedicated to his members and inspired by BTS almost-disbanding.
Goodbye to me is T.E.A.R
Because things like tears are a luxury
Such a thing as a beautiful goodbye
Won’t exist, so please start now
- Suga, “Outro: Tear”
