The fells and the crag and so green and beautiful! I would love to go hiking and camping there! That’s the hard way to learn about the bus system - glad you got it figured out! Hello from Washington👌🌲🌲🌲
Couldn't agree more! I miss colours in the nature. I saw the first daffodil last week. Not long now and the nature will get greener. Thanks for watching :)
Yes I love the sound on the tent too but it won't make me fall asleep... it will keep me awake lol.. Add some wind noise too and I am awake all night. He- hee. Thanks for watching and taking time to comment :)
I always love your positivity and sunny outlook, despite excessive rain and tent time. Stunning views and hike the next day and good to see you got good weather but not to hear about your previous years mishap - good to see it puts a smile on your face now. Another very enjoyable watch! Take care, cheers Alan
The sound of rain and wind is nice when your warm and dry! 😁 Beautiful walk! Public transport and yes, we sometimes learn the hard way! 😏 Have a great day! Kaat
Thanks for watching Kaat and taking time to comment. I quite like the lessons from life.. at least I learn from them. When I read about other peoples mistakes I tend not to pay much attention. Have a great weekend. Linda.
You are very welcome :) You know what.. every time I pass that area on the bus now, I feel sorry for myself. Heheee. Thank you for watching. All the best. Linda.
'Every meter a kilometer.' That said it all Linda. I guess many of us learn the hard way. Good that you know your way around the system now. You have unfettered access. The dream continues. Mark
Yes, Mark... the dream continues and what a beautiful dream it is! Can't wait to get up there again. Thank you for watching and taking time to comment. Hope you are doing ok. All the Best. Linda.
Ah, that brought back some happy memories for me Linda, as this was one of the first hikes I ever did too. The cairn on Thornthwaite Crag is more like a lighthouse! Lol! I don't drive, so I rely on the busses to get me about, after a while you get good at juggling bus timetables! Atb Anthony
It is a nice area because once you are up there you can do many summits and yes the cairn of Thorntwaite Crag does look like a lighthouse. This summer I am hoping to hike around Hawswater, have never been down there. Where will you go first after this lockdown thing will be sorted? Thanks for watching, Anthony :)

Thank you very much for watching and taking time to comment. :)
Nice landscape to hike in. Quite challenging with all the elevation gain :)
Thank you.
What's not to like about the Lake District? Well apart from three hours of rain :)
It actually rained all evening and all night.. hehee.. but this is how it is. Thanks for watching and taking time to leave a comment :)
I do try and get around subbed channels occasionally, even if it's just to like a video.
Enjoy watch!
Thank you :)
@@treklinda1309 Have a nice week :)
Another great video Linda - what app you use to edit your videos and how you put in the text for the summits and the heights?
I use Davinci Resolve and the text options are all there :)
All the best. Linda.
