Stocks and Stilettos is 100%. Annually in January, Cassandra does a 101 on stocks from beginning to end. Even though I knew some things about investing, there was definitely more that I needed to learn. I l LOVE that the group as a whole is supportive and I'm constantly learning about stocks/index funds/ bonds etc. from other women in the group. I've been a member for quite some time and constantly trying to get women to join (especially since it's free). Lol at stocks on layaway; honestly it's how I started out and my portfolio blossomed over time! AND you still make dividends on fractional shares!

First and foremost, it's important for women to be able to achieve a sense of financial equality and independence. In the face of issues like the gender pay gap and the pink tax, investing is one of the best ways for women to ensure that they have the potential to accumulate the same amount of wealth as men.

Most women don’t think they know enough about investing to properly grow their savings; therefore, they wait to start investing until they feel they’re more financially stable and believe they can risk the possibility of losing money. A common misconception around investing is that you have to be an expert in the industry to succeed when the reality is that there are so many tools and resources that make easy to start investing with as little as your pocket change.

First piece of advice is to get the hell out of debt. People want to invest but you got a negative networth or don't even know your networth. Get your income up. Work two jobs or get your skills up and get two new high paying jobs or a 9-5 and a side hustle. There is no good debt or bad debt . Debt is slavery. That's like saying there's good and bad slavery. Whether you are house or field you still a slave.

I find Envy was right where he should’ve been. Asking the questions that needed to be asked, because while I LOVE this interview and this black queen for founding this program etc. However she was saying everything and nothing at all. We have to learn how to teach this stuff. Just cause you’re well versed at something doesn’t mean you’re a great teacher. Envy asked the questions that cause her to clarify a few things and I still feel there was more she could’ve clarified. She kept saying open an account, where? How? She was answering questions almost in a don’t you know way and that’s not what the interview is for. It’s to educate what she does what program she has and how others can do it too.

Good interview. You took something and shared your knowledge and fortune with others. I wish you many blessing on your journey. I'm trying hard not to critique. But if your are a financial advisor to many you come on a platform as big as the breakfast club and give half ass answers? The first stocks you recommended were Amazon and Google and they have to wait until July for the split. Its just April. They are good picks but you didn't recommend any ETFs. VTI, QQQ, DIA, SPY, XLF, etc..... Those are much safer for first time investors. Please come back and bring the thunder that we know you have and take this as healthy criticism.
