- Lakers are in the need of a few free agency upgrades and both Gary Trent Jr and Spencer Dinwiddie are targets for the Lakers. Lakers Trade still needs to happen not only to upgrade the roster but to even just clear spots to sign both Dinwiddie and Trent. Lakers Nation could really use both these guys.

I don't think he is better than Hayes, he was better at the start of last season, but Hayes picked up his game a lot.

Vando should not be traded as one of your best defenders. If we aren’t looking to trade Reddish, Hays, JHS, Vincent… then we shouldn’t be looking to trade anyone. You name me a legit trade that’s possible, I can crush it with why not. Has to be realistic.

Yea I feel like it was tough for him mentally because he is used to having the ball and generating offense like when he was on the Nets, I think JJ will put him in the right spots, im not out on him yet
We never really got to see Spencer in those few games he played, he almost looked back in the groove by in the playoffs.
So he can miss another 3 free throws vs Denver and we lose by 2
I would keep Wood over Hayes! Also, move JHS while he still has some value.
I would also but Lakers are probably looking at Hayes as he's a true 7ft with upside and just turned 24

Ham had nothing to do with being 31st in offensive rebs. How about being one of the worst teams in the nba defending the 3pt line. That has every thing to do with length and athleticism. We are slow on the perimeter with reeves and dlo who can't react and close quickly. We also can't leap and lack length from our 1..2 and 3 as Bron barely tries to get in and rebound . These struggles continue against long athletic teams like sac..okc..minny...lac..den...hou...dal
I say keep Dlo at 40% 3 pt shooting,move Reddish to defensive specialist( jj can make his shooting better covering for Dlo defensive weaknesses. Bring in big man( Hassan Whiteside) to expel AD and he's younger than Dwight

Reeves and D’Lo are far better as a duo than Trent and Dinwiddie.
Trent is horrible in isolation...cant defend and can't get to the rim. Average athlete. This move would do nothing to improve the team. Also has no handle. What good is a 2 that can only spot up for kick outs. Does nothing on ball.

What the fuck is wrong with everyone?? It’s like loony tunes. Are you freaking kidding me? Trent Jr. has a career FG% of I think 42.2% and Dinwiddie is freaking worse at around 41%. Also Dinwiddie shoots 33% from 3pt. That’s not good. It’s actually kinda bad. Trent is NOT a good defender. D’Lo is an 18 and 6 guy who doesn’t turn the ball over. And he did that on a team with LBJ and AD. How many times has D’Lo scored over 15 by the half only to stop shooting in the second half? You think that was his idea? You think he decided on his own to stop shooting because they were ahead by too much? Everybody is criticizing Rob Pelinka for not making trades, but for what’s out there currently… it’s not doing something that’s the best thing he’s done. There is not anything out there that legitimately improves a 47 win team that was 2 games out of the 5th spot and 4 from the 3rd. A lot of injuries last season. Guys out for most of the season. The smart play is to run it back. See if it’s better than last season. We certainly didn’t lose anything from last season. Would it be great to have a center, sure. But we made our bed. Before Westbrick, we could have had Hield and Myles Turner. Myles Fucking Turner. His defense plus AD… holy shit. But nope, had to have Westbrick. So this is where we are now. Let’s not dump all are assets for B-, C+ players now. Patience.
