Well they are looking at it as rappers, rappers tend to look at things as who can bring their best. Yes we are one collective in a group but just as when we were kids with our best friends/ brothers it's time to see who can bring the heat. It's about setting the bar higher because if you notice when the mic is passed it's essentially like a "let me see what you got." Especially now more than ever because its needed. We need niggas to be on their toes.
QJ.cole, kendrick, Joey, drake( debatable) cant be the "only" ones who hold it down. Jayz, kanye, wayne, ti, all them dudes kinda aging out (not saying they not rapping cuz they putting out great records) we need the competition from the likes of Coast Contra or Afro to keep us balanced out, showing that you are the best comes with the game.

I've been watching reactions just to see how other people appreciate these guys the way I did when i first heard them , and this is by far the worst reaction i've seen. They are a collective , how is the first thing you do is to start comparing and pitching them against. They clearly have different styles and flows that work together. My man in the middle is clearly impressed and keeps looking left and right for the other two to acknowledge the fire that's unfolding; dude on the left is just looking for holes so he can criticize . I believe it is because he is actually a good writer/rapper himself and appreciates what they do and he knows how hard it is to do it at a high level. So I recommend you watch some of the other Coast Contra reactions by him.
