I think Osman is switching to a new series. Although he hinted there'll be more 'Thursday Murder Club' the next book in the TMC series may be some years away. To be frank, The Last Devil To Die seemed to me to be a bit forced as though he'd had to be coerced by his publisher into writing it.
Loved Lesley's reading of the first 2 books - she really bought Richard's characters to life for me! Unfortunately she does not read the 3rd book, which I was eagerly awaiting. so disappointed & has completely ruined the audio experience for me ☹
She doesn't read the 4th either 😢. The person who *does* read the 3rd and 4th does a pretty good job with characterisation but I have two problems with her reading. The first is some very strange emphasis on some words which makes me think I've misheard a sentence and have to rewind to check. Makes me think maybe English isn't her first language. And the second is an occasional drop in volume; there's a way to do 'stage whispers' without the listener having to strain to hear the words
