Yuqi is crazy talanted. She can dance a traditional dance of a ethnicity minority group in china, she can play a traditional Chinese instrument, she can sing, she can dance and her expressions on stage are simply amazing. She can do everything perfectly!♡♡♡
I really like her as a kpop idol. I think shes my BIAS from G(idle). She has those classic looks like the group "Lovelyz" has but her singing and dancing are much more like black pink. Plus she has such a natural personality and she seems so lively and fun.

The U.S. is willing to export sensitive high tech and military hardware to Taiwan but not China. All this is taking place while they pretend Taiwan is not a country! Chinese citizens on the other hand must obtain visa first to visit the U.S. and EU.

History of China and Taiwan can be traced to the time of Japanese occupation of China. Imperial Japan had occupied China and China was divided between the Nationalists led by Chang-kai-Shek and Communists led by Mao Zedong. To defeat Imperial Japan Chinese Communists and Nationalists joined hands and defeated the Japanese.After the end of the second world war Chinese Communists and Nationalists negotiated for power sharing but talks failed and it paved the way for the Chinese Civil war. In the Civil war Chinese communists defeated the Nationalists and drove them out of the mainland.This led to the proclamation of the Communist People's republic of China.Nationalists found refuge in Taiwan where they established a government called Republic of China. United States was not happy with the Communist victory and hence rushed to recognise Republic of China which was based in Taiwan as the sole legitimate goverment of China. United States even gave the Republic of China in Taiwan a permanent seat in the United Nations Security Council with a veto power. All changed when President Richard Nixon of United States visited China and a major shift in United States foreign policy in which President Nixon declared the People's Republic of China the sole legitimate government of China. This made the Republic of China illegitimate.
Coming to present times Taiwan is a Presidential democracy and has its own defence forces. It claims to be independent but is not recognized by the United Nations. People's republic of China claims Taiwan to be its integral part and any attempt by Taiwan to declare independence will be met with an armed invasion. Majority of countries do not maintain official diplomatic relations with Taiwan.

ROC and PRC are two governments of China, they all claimed to rule the same country except ROC controls only Taiwan and PRC controls all but Taiwan.
Below is the brief history, if you are interested.

There was guy named Sun who led the revolt and overthrown the last empire of China in effort to form a democratic government. Republic of China was established. Both today’s PRC and ROC recognized him as founding father of China.
However a warlord named Yuan who helped Sun in the revolution was elected as first president, but he was a bad dude who wanted only monarchy for himself. Sun was expelled.
Sun ran to southern China and formed a Chinese Nationalist party known as KMT, combining force with democracy advocates including the communist party.
Sun’s successor Chiang got rid of Yuan, reform the government of ROC. but as soon as Sun died he started to expell all communists because he saw them as threat.
KMT didn’t have actual control over all of China because they still relied on warlords who were essentially the kings of respective area. So the government under KMT was corrupted and inefficient.
Japanese invaded, KMT faced defeat after defeat since Chiang was preoccupied in purging communists. Lower class people had enough of that government, and communists saw that as a chance to fight back.
After Japanese was defeated, the showdown between the weary KMT and growing CCP began. KMT took a big L and escape to Taiwan. Chiang in Taiwan hoped to reclaim mainland, whereas in mainland communists wished to liberate Taiwan. But neither has the ability to fulfill their promise.
During cold war Taiwan got substantial help from US just as west Germany was helped by Europeans to fight communism. Taiwan successfully transformed into democracy with the help of healthy capitalist economy, at same time mainland struggled.
Younger generation in Taiwan started to look down upon mainland because of the superior economy and social progress, and finding unification pointless because of the backwardness in mainland despite the mainland sovereignty was clearly stated in the constitution of ROC.
Mainland economy took off, PRC and USA established diplomatic relationship. ROC government was kicked out of UN.
Well, they are just debut last may this year but they already (gidle) received lots of love. Way to go. I like cube artists, they are so amazing talented idol.
