Rented a room in an 8 bedrooms flat for 5 quid a week. Someone left this on repeat in their locked room, for entire afternoon, I was hooked,at 16, 10 years later saw them at Brixton odium, was 7 months pregnant with my first child. He’s nearly 40! How time flys, thanks for this.✊❤️
Thank you. Great. I really love how you are into the song. I guess we are nearly about the same age. I still can remember all those songs. Born in 1959. Best ever....Keep on rocking.
Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. And we are both 59ers 👍 so probably have similar musical influences. One of my early reviews was Duty, and hit me with your rhythm stick, love.
@@BritishDadReacts-ui4jx Great, John. True true true, we sure do have the similar musical influences. No doubt. Just watched your Status Quo and Sigue Sigue Sputnick Videos. Excellent. I have some additional ideas: Uhriah Heep July Morning, Neil Young Keep on rocking in a free world or like a hurrican. And so many more. Glad that I met you yesterday here. Greetings from Germany. Keep on rocking. I am a follower now.
@ thank you and thanks for the recommendations. I did review one of Neil Young's songs ruclips.net/video/j8gGiXrd6kY/видео.html I have so much music to cover, and I'm still fairly new on RUclips, but I hope I'm adding some value. Danke Schon - couldn't find the umlaut
@@BritishDadReacts-ui4jx Thank you John. I just watched the Neil Young Review following your link. Great. I have a question, John: which current music do you prefer? I really want to see Joe Bonamassa live on stage. His guitar sometimes sounds like a violin. Incredible. What do you mean? Dankeschön.... :)
Was anyone ever cooler than Ian Dury? (RIP) Definitely punk meets funk-in the best possible way. Can't say I agree with his choice of jheri curl, but that's another discussion for another day. :) Always a joy, John. Excellent job. The rhythm track/section reminds me of Rick James-style funk. Awesome that you got to see them live. I love live song versions and live music. That being said, I have been to a few really bad concerts and left disappointed, but that's not the norm. Most live concerts are really good.
Thank you. Yeah, he was pretty cool even for the punk days, and the Blockheads were a really tight unit with great rhythm. I don't think I've been to too many bad gigs, or at least not that I remember

Thanks for watching and for the comment and the memory. It's crazy how the time flies, but we were privileged to have such music
