+Darwiz Kalifha Hi Darwiz Kalifha, erstmal - danke für´s Abo ;-). Ich glaube es wird nicht so ganz einfach mit einer Reenactment Gruppe nach Wollin zu fahren, denn es werden "Kontingente" auf´s Fest geladen. Erst mußt Du einer Gruppe angehören, fleissig trainieren und dann wird die Gruppe entscheiden, wer nach Wollin fahren "darf", wenn sie denn eingeladen ist. Als "Tourist" kannst Du natürlich immer kommen, aber mit einer Gruppe..... Schau Dir mal die anderen "21st CVStories" an, da stellen sich ein paar Gruppen vor, vielleicht kannst Du mit ihnen in Kontakt kommen. Viel Glück und Grüße aus Berlin

+Kladdkakor egott Hi there, it is not allowed for women to fight for the jomsborg vikings in a battle, but there are women fighting. You have to join a reenactment group, practice a lot and maybe you are brave enough to make it! Watch part 8 of the "21st Century Viking Stories" and you will hear more about it. @@OndskapensHerskerThere are plenty of women in different fighting groups and you dont need to prove yourself if you are a woman any more then a man do,depending on the requirements on larger groups like the jomsvikings,they are only male fighters,as far as i know. You just wanna pick up a spear/axe/sword and a shield and fight and many is good too...
@@Rottensparrow At midgardsblot it is not choreographed,but showfight with lighter hits and no helmet requirements and more western style which is more or less standard in Scandinavia…but in Wolin its all out eastern style,with lamellar/chainmail/gambeson and helmets from head to feet,and no holding back when the shieldwalls crashing into each other...
Beautiful women going to this festival! Wow! Also, this is just a suggestion, but if you had a drone you could get amazing shots of these battles! Would be a game changer.
Hi there ...two times: yes ! ...Very beautiful women ... and a drone shoots great pictures, but three drones filmed last year and for the participans this ist really annoying, To join the battle with the camera in the field, this is the real challenge ;-).

The Vikings had Shield Maidens or warrior as we call them so let the ladies fight also. This is the best Viking anything there is.
