This song seems like a callback to Once Sent From the Golden Hall. "See us ride for vengeance" (Ride for Vengeance), "Our dragons fly across the waves" (a line from The Dragons' Flight Across the Waves), "We charge without fear" (Without Fear), "Friends of the Suncross", "Abandoned by your god" (Abandoned), "See us ride down the Amon Amarth" (Amon Amarth), "We're sent from the hall of gold / Messengers of death" (similar to "And upon a mountain towering tall / Stands the messengers of death" from Once Sent From the Golden Hall". Only song I couldn't find a direct mention to was Victorious March.

It‘s a little bit late but I still want to answer you.
It‘s not just a callback to Once Sent From The Golden Hall, more it is also a callback to their first ever released EP „Sorrow Throughout The Nine Worlds“.
The first song is „Sorrow Through The Nine Worlds“ and in this song there is this line: „… you feel a sorrow surrounding you as of the nine worlds…“
Or another song is „The Arrival Of The Fimbul Winter“ and a line in this song: „… your time has come your Fimbul Winter‘s arrived…“
I just wanted to mention that because I liked your approach on that.

Hah, just some pettiness from AA when HF was getting big, they didn't think they deserved it. But they grew up and realized they were being silly. That was a looong time ago. While they thought everything was being handed to HF, AA were really struggling to get things going. Only after their 4TH album VS THE WORLD did things start to look good for them. Cheers!
