This fight showed that belal’s toughest opponent is himself. When Belal lets his hands go and gets on the gas he’s a brute. When he just uses his wrestling to lay and pray he’s average. He’s got to learn to trust himself and go for the kill, like he did in this fight.

Well that’s also contributed to Brady just crumbling under the pressure. Most other fighters would not react like he did. He just stood there and accepted his fate. No attempt to engage the clinch, no takedown attempt, no counters, just nothing.

But the ref ended it too early. Some people can take that kind of beating and come out on top. Ref pissed me off, he's to prissy to be a ref( and yes Brady was losing but nah nah nah)

Belal may not be the best boxer but he has a very good base/stance, very good reflexes and a solid 1-2 combo. Extremely high IQ, knows exactly how to manage a victory, takes a very good hit, stamina on point. He takes out Leon based on his IQ and determination.

I think the fight should’ve resumed ref probably stepped in because Sean at the last 45 seconds was just only blocking moving back and forth while not answering back Sean was rocked at that moment

I gotta say. BELAL may not be the most exciting 2 watch. Buuuut, outta every UFC fighter, he DEFINITELY makes the most outta his important muscle....his brain!!!!!
Even though he's the king of decision wins, I'd say he's the only one that actually sticks to a specific set game plan & adjusts accordingly. Where as, a lot of fighters let their emotions get in the way. (Anger, frustration) If he needs to pressure 4ward he does. If he needs to stay on his bicycle & move left to right, he does. I think that Luque fight woke him up. Some fighters lose like that & they decline. Others lose like that & improve. Definitely using his brain like a chess match. It's gotta take alot of discipline to do that. He str8 up broke down Brady like a horse. Very systematic win. Very impressive.

He may not have a pretty style, but Belal gets the job done when it counts. I must admit that I really do not like his style (wrestle-fucking with basically zero meaningful G&P) but when he’s forced to stand, it gets interesting. If he could just learn to do more than lay and pray on the ground, he could absolutely be one of the most beloved, longest-reigning champs in the modern era. Yet, I just don’t see that happening 😂😂
