The pigments are just lovely! I’d be intrigued to see how vibrant the pigment would be on toned paper, which I love for coloured pencil illustrations.x
Do you mean the Tanned paper, I showed them on Black and Grey but in the morning I will try them on the Tanned paper and add the image to my written review on my site The Art Gear Guide. Hope this will help a bit.

I just discovered your channel recently and this is the first video that came up in my subscribed. I was really excited to see it because I have been looking at these on amazon and couldn't really find much about them. I added both sets to be wishlist after this review. Even though I have quite a few colored pencil sets, I like to pick up sets that have colors that are a bit different than what I've already got if they have a budget friendly price point, which these do. Just finished watching your review of the Derwent carry bag and now this one. I'm enjoying both! Would love to try these pencils and perhaps review them myself. I've had LOTS of people tell me I should try them, so I think maybe I should. Haha. I need to get some of the Black Widow pencils, as well. Didn't they eventually change the way they made them to include a color name or something on them, whereas they didn't have one before? I have used my quite a few colours in a picture from Johanna Basford world of flowers picture yesterday. Fantastic beautiful colours. But the white one dosent blend. As I tried to blend even a little flower useing one colour shading it out , I used it to blend it out. Found it realy hard. Is that just me that found the white like that. They are such a ray of beautiful bright colours. The lay down of the colours are like butter so easy to use. Apart from the white could you help me please any information will be gratefully appreciated. Thank you Karen. X

I have to share something here...last month, I was being evicted from my home of 14 years due to depression, inability to work outside the home, and poor medical care options. As I was deciding what possessions to try and keep in my truck, which is what I'd be living in, aside from my two pups, photos of my kids and my art supplies were at the top of the list. Clothing was next, blankets and shoes rounded out the items. This is how important art is to people. I know you already know, mister Harry. I kept saying to myself as I was sorting things out, "thank goodness I bought art stuff when I was still a normal person. When I was still working and functioning in the world. The thought of having to part with paper and color is too much for my simple heart. I treasure the art supply items I have right up there along with my life-saving dogs. Long live art.

Hi, great review, I have used other Coloured Pencils but I always have the same problem with them especially depth of colour, plus blending is always really difficult. I am in need of some really good pencils and these look very good, would love to own and produce some of my art with these Coloured Pencils.. Thanks.
I just bought some, can't wait to try these! I always use lots of different green colors and browns. Plus flesh tones seem to lack in sets. Hopefully this company will expand the colors. I watched ur video on the Black Widow colored pencils & I'm excited to see these. I've not owned either set but I would love to try them in my coloring books up against my carpal tunnel, pinched nerves in my wrists. The colors look vibrant & beautiful w/minimal layers. carpal tunnel is the worst!, I had it twice in both hands, ick! the release surgery is fairly easy and quick, thank goodness, but the recovery is tough!, get good physical &/or occupational therapy afterwards to help the recovery go smoothly I had it after the second release, but not the first, I probably wouldn't have had the second if I had, good luck to you!

Great review I’m off to purchase at Amazon for $16 US dollars and change. I did see the third box you referenced, Cobra, and each tin was labeled as 1000, 2000, or 3000 in the series. I’m sure your friend Albert has probably sent you the cobra set if it’s at Amazon, sadly though they don;t have an image of what those colors are. Right now I think the BW and scorpion is really all I need as I have way too many pencil sets as it is. Like you my Mum and Dad would of appreciated the Irish green color, my Mom was born and raised in Bohola in Mayo and Dad grew up near Clondakin Dublin, they went every other year sadly but I haven’t been back in a while. I can't order the scorpions off amazon they currently unavailable and they don't know if they'll get anymore,which is a shame as I ordered the other two sets,eBay has them but they charging a whopping £10 for postage!!
I have seen Black Widow pencils on Amazon that have a cobra on the tin. Is this another set of pencils from Black Widow? and are the colors all different from previous sets? Thank you for your videos.

+Patti Hanson Hi Patti, there is very little difference, there has been slight enhancements made to the Scorpions over the Black Widow but the ingredients remained the same. The barrel is thicker in the Scorpion which I like but I know some don’t, but perhaps the biggest difference is that the Scorpions have been made to crumble less than the Black Widows. Now I have to say I didn’t find the Black Widows crumbled a lot anyway. Hope this has helped a wee bit Patti. Thank you so much for stopping by.
+Jess V Kuhz Art the gentleman who has released these pencils and Black Widow is relatively new to coloured pencil, I think all in all they have only been about now for 8 months and the Scorpion about two months or slightly more, which might be why you've never heard of them. Wow. That is really interesting! I am always quite curious on all art supplies(new and old). It is really hard not to buy everything when EVERYTHING is seriously exciting and beautiful! Great review I’m off to purchase at Amazon for $16 US dollars and change. I did see the third box you referenced, Cobra, and each tin was labeled as 1000, 2000, or 3000 in the series. I’m sure your friend Albert has probably sent you the cobra set if it’s at Amazon, sadly though they don;t have an image of what those colors are. Right now I think the BW and scorpion is really all I need as I have way too many pencil sets as it is. Like you my Mum and Dad would of appreciated the Irish green color, my Mom was born and raised in Bohola in Mayo and Dad grew up near Clondakin Dublin, they went every other year sadly but I haven’t been back in a while. I can't order the scorpions off amazon they currently unavailable and they don't know if they'll get anymore,which is a shame as I ordered the other two sets,eBay has them but they charging a whopping £10 for postage!!

I have seen Black Widow pencils on Amazon that have a cobra on the tin. Is this another set of pencils from Black Widow? and are the colors all different from previous sets? Thank you for your videos.
eisus1213 Hi there I have just received the Cobra set from Albert for review this totals 72 pencils from Albert, Black Widow, Scorpion and Cobra. They are all different colors but I will explain all this in my review. I will let you know as soon as I have the review up and running. I have been so lucky to work with Albert right from the beginning of his journey into colored pencils and I can tell you this, the ideas and plans he has are amazing and I am truly fortunate that Albert reached out to me way back in the beginning. Between the Scorpion and the Black Widow, what are the differences? Which would you recommend?
+Patti Hanson Hi Patti, there is very little difference, there has been slight enhancements made to the Scorpions over the Black Widow but the ingredients remained the same. The barrel is thicker in the Scorpion which I like but I know some don’t, but perhaps the biggest difference is that the Scorpions have been made to crumble less than the Black Widows. Now I have to say I didn’t find the Black Widows crumbled a lot anyway. Hope this has helped a wee bit Patti. Thank you so much for stopping by.

+Jess V Kuhz Art the gentleman who has released these pencils and Black Widow is relatively new to coloured pencil, I think all in all they have only been about now for 8 months and the Scorpion about two months or slightly more, which might be why you've never heard of them. But they are beautiful pencils, good luck in the draw and thank you so much for stopping by my channel.

I'd like to enter this giveaway these pencils seem really nice and way too expensive for me to buy (buying art supplies which are of high quality as a teenager is quite the struggle especially when your family doesn't have that much money) but even if i don't win this i hope the other person who did will be very happy with them much luck to all of you guys and girls :)
