So unless the fire is bigger, the fire department dont really need to lay hose lines or worry about their water supply. They are probably running around because the fire looks as though it is in a place thats hard to reach like the attic, and the firemen wearing the fresh air supply are checking it out.
just found another video of the fire: the Aerial you see arriving here was set up at the position where it stood at the end of the video; Another aerial coming in later was set up at the corner of the intersection
oen doesn't see if they pulled a hose line at the left side nearby the entrance into the building. And concerning the Aerial I can imagine that they wanted to reach the rear side of the building, or they simply didn't know until then from where the fire actually comes from
Richtig. Wir haben in unserem Haus sogar auch zwei. Die sind zwar ziemlich klein und gut unter den Waschbecken in den Bädern versteckt (und mitlerweile ein bischen zugestellt). Ich glaube aber sowieso das ein Feuerlöscher für ein Einfamilienhaus sehr viel praktischer ist!

zumindest in größeren bzw. öffentlichen Gebäuden, jedoch nicht ein Einfamilienhäusern/Privathäsuern
