I've learned from watching Nigel Saunders videos that you can be very brutal with root pruning of certain species. My experience thus far with Chili plants it that they are very resilient!
it looks like you only kept half of the root spread. did the other side need to be regrown for some reason or do you intend on this tree having a one sided root spread in the future?
Hey there! The roots were growing in an uneven vertical plane, so I cut them back to get the root all growing from same level.= One side is now mostly bare of roots, so I am hoping they regrow tin that spot. There are also no branches/leaves on that part of the trunk so it may not work. We will see!
