3 Foolproof Methods to Avoid Crowds and Save Money | Iceland Hot Springs

On a recent trip, I was able to successfully avoid crowds and save money and I wanted to share how I was able to do it. In the winter of last year, I had an amazing 24 hour layover in Iceland that was completely unexpected. By going on a trip during the off season, I was able to find a great deal. There was some fuss about a volcano erupting and that maybe it wouldn't be a good time to go, but I tuned out the noise, went anyway and it worked out in my favor. I had plans to visit some fancy hot springs but after talking to a local, I went to a way better local spot for a fraction of the cost per his recommendation. I used three very simple methods to save a lot of money and avoid all of the crowds. Plus, I was able to take advantage of a free stopover through Icelandair - there are some other airlines that offer similar stopovers. Maybe you can implement these methods for your next trip!
