The Sofitel Hotel Heathrow is the best Luxury Hotel at this airport. It is perfectly situated for Terminal 5, which is a five minute walk away via a covered footbridge. The hotel has underground car parking with a discount for guests and plenty of restaurant and bar options.
If you are a member of the Accor Hotel group you will get a reduced rate and upgrades depending on your status.
An excellent luxury hotel - I have stayed at the Sofitel T5 many times and would recommend it for your next stay when you are travelling from T5 Heathrow.

What was the view of the room?
Hi - just an internal view. Many of the rooms looks into an Atrium. Not always a bad thing at an airport hotel where external noise can be an issue ✈🙏
I'm going to land at T3 by evening and have a layover till the morning after at T5, if I book a room at Sofitel I need to go through security check again the morning after, right? Since I'll leave the airport area...I don't know if it would be better to spend the night in my terminal
Hello - it is correct that you would need to go through security again if you stay at the Sofitel. As far as I know there are no 'airside' hotels at LHR so you may need to clear security anyway. The Hilton Garden Inn at T3 is linked by a footbridge and has great views from the rooftop bar and also the Aerotel is located in the arrivals hall at T3. Have a great trip!
