AJ is without doubt the A side. AJ has fought many top names he's earnt more money than Wilder in his past fights and he has 4 belts but I think the only way the fight will get made is if it's a 50-50 split. Have a 50-50 split and put a rematch clause in the contract and then whoever wins can have 60-40 in the rematch. Wilder's gotta get past Fury first though, Fury on his day can beat AJ and Wilder.

He brought up the story about how above all, he forced his manager to make the fight with Riddick Bowe, which Bowe decided to vacate his belt. I'm not necessarily saying AJ doesn't want the fight, maybe it's his team and he doesn't have control over it. But if Lennox Lewis of all people is directly saying the issue is on AJ's side, then I don't know how so many people say otherwise.

Yes it makes sense. just like wilder only calls AJ out when he's signed to fight. That said, Finkle and Hearn are not fighters, they can at least iron out their differences so that when the fighters are both ready/ free the ground work has been laid for a smooth negotiation and they can both enter camp in good time. Only drawback in this situation is the fury rematch clause. Is it an immediate one or are both willing to wait and allow the other to fight AJ first, then rematch. That for example would be one of the things they could clarify by meeting now instead of later.

Here is another example that happened outside of these negotiations Lennox Lewis was the last undisputed heavyweight champion. On multiple occasions when talking about the fight, he told Joshua to take the fight. Never once did he say, "Wilder, you need to take this." But he specifically addressed AJ. He brought up the story about how above all, he forced his manager to make the fight with Riddick Bowe, which Bowe decided to vacate his belt. I'm not necessarily saying AJ doesn't want the fight, maybe it's his team and he doesn't have control over it. But if Lennox Lewis of all people is directly saying the issue is on AJ's side, then I don't know how so many people say otherwise.

That said, Finkle and Hearn are not fighters, they can at least iron out their differences so that when the fighters are both ready/ free the ground work has been laid for a smooth negotiation and they can both enter camp in good time. Only drawback in this situation is the fury rematch clause. Is it an immediate one or are both willing to wait and allow the other to fight AJ first, then rematch. That for example would be one of the things they could clarify by meeting now instead of later.
