Great video all around. On my microphone journey, I eventually realized exactly what you said. Condensers are the play. Just modestly treat your space and you'll get AMAZING results. I realized this after sitting in the sea of sub $500 mics, I bought a Lewitt 440 Pure and CAD E100S as my first condensers and liked them a lot actually. Eventually, I decided to spurge a bit and get an MKH 416 which I've enjoyed. Maybe I'll get a U87 one day, we'll see.
Hello sir hope you are doing fine ! Well I’m a constant travelling music producer and singer song writer So usually work in untreated environments but I need to record my vocals planning to get the shure 7b but I have seen finneas working with tlm 103 heard heard takes it on road as well If you had given choice to choose one microphone between these two in my situation which would you opt Please help me with this Thank you
This was awesome. Mics are just so much fun. I've found myself leaning more towards condensers lately, and now I have a better understanding of why. 👍
Great to hear! (literally... haha).

416 is an absolute staple, and I know you'll appreciate the u87 when that comes your way too
