Fall Hay Bailing, Massey Ferguson #12 Bailer

This is from where we completed our fall hay bailing at my buddy Russell's house. We used his Massey Ferguson # 12 bailer, I think it was built in 1965, it runs better than I do...lol

We had a massive 12 m I had a three bet. I think there was a five maybe worked on all kinds of bait through the years.

We have a nearly identical baler, we bought it new in 1973. So I think yours is a bit newer than you think.

I read somewhere online 1965, but you are probably right, I’m amazed at how well it does for its age. You don’t buy anything made like that anymore… Thank you for watching and commenting

You might find this this amazing but in the 80's my parents and I made easy 1000 bales in a day with one of these.

What kind of grass are you baling? Nice baler! I’m going to look at a no12, apparently it’s missing the pto... Looks like the plunger turns faster than my no3, definitely a wider pickup.

Good morning, this field is fescue with a little clover. It does well, occasionally will snap the sheer pin from the PTO to the flywheel… special bolt from MF, want to keep a few on hand… Thank you for the comment
