A lot of these eBay cards you either broke even or lost money. Doesn't really make sense to buy and resell using eBay unless your margins are massively high.

My profit margin after shipping and fees is around 8%. As shown in the video I explain exactly what i paid and how much I net after fees. The buyer pays the shipping cost. I net 86.75 of what I sell it for so paying 80% it works like this. Paid $80, card sells for $100, I net $86.75 which is a profit % of 8.43.
As I explain above the buyer pays shipping so ignore that completely, I sell a card for $100 I will net $87 after eBay fees as you said (13%). I will pay 80 for that card aka 80% of comps. That is about an 8.4% profit margin
With the volatility of the market you try to sell quickly instead of holding on to things. 1/100 players will go up long term. It’s just not a risk i like to take often.
how do you make money when ebay fees are 13% shipping is $5 and paypal fees are like 3%? that takes away all your profit with these 50-100 dollar cards

I make on average 8% per card. That’s with eBay fees included. Buyer pays the shipping.

The seller covers shipping when I buy it. That’s included intro the price I say I paid

Depends on the deal. Mostly no, but the seller usually eats the goods fee meaning you don’t have to cover it. I do deals with people I trust.
