Is this model one of those Italian junkers? We always had good service from our Chrysler, Dodge vehicles but haven't bought one since Fiat bought them.

I have a 2012 dodge journey 3.6 an recently started overheating, popped the hood to see where it's coming from it, it blows steam from underneath that motor mount bracket, could that be the water pump seal is bad or what

    Ok I have 2013 journey sxt 3.6
I had fluid leaking from the driver side of the car, assumed it was the gaskets on the oil cooler changed the gaskets on the oil cooler, and checked the hose that connects to the oil cooler for break, none noticed, could it be possible that the oil cooler is cracked somewhere that I can't see by looking at it?, or where else can fluid leak from that would make it leak off the driver side?

Oh yeah, the you can tell it starts on the passenger side under the cooler because I removed the hose that connects to the oil cooler placed my finger over the hole for the hose to block the passage, ran water thru the antifreeze bottle, and water still raised and started leaking from the driver side again, I'm thinking cracked oil cooler because it's the. Plastic housing one, not the aftermarket all aluminum one, do you think that can be the problem, the water won't leak water under the oil cooler right?

And if it had a bad water pump, water wouldn't leak up under the oil cooler right?
