Here in Britain, the yellow fever vaccine is not offered on the NHS, and can only be obtained privately, due to the very low risk that an imported case of yellow fever could pose to public health in Britain - it is spread through the bites of a mosquito that is not found in the United Kingdom. The annual flu vaccination is available on the NHS, but only to those aged 65 and over, people with certain medical conditions, pregnant women, NHS employees and social care staff. But the typhoid vaccine is offered on the NHS, as is a combined tetanus/diphtheria/polio vaccine, due to the high risk that an imported case of typhoid or polio could pose to public health in the United Kingdom.
But the cost of getting those vaccinations in Britain would be much lower than in the United States, as only the yellow fever vaccine (and possibly the flu vaccine) would have to be paid for. Of course, you pay for the other vaccines through your taxes, but that isn't quite the same thing.

You know I never even thought about the different shots you would need to go to other countries but it totally makes sense. Great advice!

This was the best injection video I’ve ever watched and I’ve got a huge phobia about it. My only worry is if the needle touches or goes into my bone I know this has probably never happened but it pops into my head whenever I get one or even watch it on TV but for some reason this woman made it soooo fast like even I was like “is that it?” And I was only watching 😂 hope my doctor is as fast as her

    $500 for these vaccine?
In India you can get these for under 2500 rupees, i.e less than $35.

I’ll be going to Egypt and Jordan in October but not sure if I should get vaccinated. With this whole thing they say about vaccines kinda creeps me out. Have you ever been there? If so, did you also get vaccinated to go to these places?

I will go to Egypt next month, I am also wondering to get vaccinated. How did you proceed? Did you get them?

Thank you for the information. By chance do you remember how long those vaccinations are good for? For instance, if you wanted to travel to the same location, now four years later, do you need to be revaccinated?

So I got my specific vaccine for traveling to Belize (the one under Most Travels). But now my question is I haven't had any routinely vaccinations since after 9th grade. Am I suppose get them before my trip? Are they really necessary?

If you're just traveling, that might be okay. However, if you are moving to another country temporarily, you might reconsider. I'm moving to China for a year to teach and something about getting typhoid just doesn't seem like a good time.

    I have question!
Can you not really feel nothing after vaccine shot???
I came here bcoz my second shot for rabies is kinda offish.
Its like nothing. I can even punch my deltoid area even by now. I think the doctor didnt put a full recommended dosage of the antiRabies vaccine into my shoulder or none at all and its making me anxious.
We just pay for nothing?? Can someone advice me for this stuff 😭😭😭😭
