Bought Pokémon White 2 for about £15 back in 2016. Bought Pokémon Black 2 a few months back for £65. Prices aren’t as crazy here in the UK but still steep. Pokémon games sell for a lot these days
I knew Pokémon would be in this video as soon as I saw the thumbnail haha. Those games are ridiculously overpriced thanks to Nintendo’s BS production lines making copies for only about 9-10 months after release, it’s a well-known business strategy called artificial scarcity. Look up the production cycles for Nintendo games versus most other games, they are a third of what most games print for because it’s cheaper for them in the long run and guarantees 100% profit.
@@maverator It’s all about keeping the price of their games at full retail price. They’d rather make 100% profit than keep their games printing and bring the price of it down. Most companies like Sony or Microsoft over print their copies and they end up for like $5 at GameStop. Nintendo games don’t stay at full price because they’re selling like crazy years down the line, there just aren’t enough copies to go around when a game has only been in production lines for less than a year and it’s a highly-coveted franchise like Pokémon or Zelda. What’s the difference? They don’t partake in artificial shortage. Artificial shortage of Pokémon games? In what way? If there was a shortage, how does each pair of games sell 10-30 million copies? It's not scarcity, it's just the demand.

Great videos as always Mystic!😊 Fun to watch everytime! Just wonder, dont you collect any bigger *Collectors Editions* or is it just more disc-based games? Greetz from Sweden! 🤗
I bought White 2 on release for €33. I really regret not picking up Black 2 that day as well. I'd love to buy a box/booklet for my leaf green cart but Pokémon Crystal is a holy grail item. I don't even want to look at how much that would go for now.
I purchased a copy of Pokemon White from a local store complete with the case, looks new no damage, I paid $35 for it a year ago. I don't buy games like that just to have them sit on a shelf I buy them to play. As for Playasia I rather like them, I got a couple of hard to find and pricey accessories like the Hori Monster Hunter XX Double Cross Hunting Gear for the 3DS and the PS Vita Remote Play Assist. I also use them to get PSN 12 month subs and the PSN Money cards since they are usually cheaper than local shops or sites like Amazon.

You should do a collection tour video at some point, would love to see everything you’ve got.
super mario 64 ds is such a great and underrated version of that game. this video made me want to play it again!
Great videos as always Mystic!😊 Fun to watch everytime! Just wonder, dont you collect any bigger *Collectors Editions* or is it just more disc-based games? Greetz from Sweden! 🤗
He pays ridiculous prices though. Nearly $1000 for all that stuff?!
@@unicorntomboy9736 I guess money can in fact buy happiness
is that a trick question
@@unicorntomboy9736 nah dude, just a joke
@@dootor-san I cannot imagine the amount of packaging waste Ryan creates
Thankfully i caught up on collecting the older Pokemon games a few years ago before the retro market got out of control
My brother recently gave me his White, SS and Pearl so now I wish I had never sold my Pokémon games. Had Plat, HG and Black.
I bought White 2 on release for €33. I really regret not picking up Black 2 that day as well. I'd love to buy a box/booklet for my leaf green cart but Pokémon Crystal is a holy grail item. I don't even want to look at how much that would go for now.
Pokemon black 2 and white 2 are amazing dude
Always love to see your collections 🤙🏿
*patiently waits for the next episode*
I hope if Nintendo brings gameboy/color/advanced to switch online they add all the old Pokémon games that would be awesome and very convenient
Keep it up on your work and this video and channel
I purchased a copy of Pokemon White from a local store complete with the case, looks new no damage, I paid $35 for it a year ago. I don't buy games like that just to have them sit on a shelf I buy them to play. As for Playasia I rather like them, I got a couple of hard to find and pricey accessories like the Hori Monster Hunter XX Double Cross Hunting Gear for the 3DS and the PS Vita Remote Play Assist. I also use them to get PSN 12 month subs and the PSN Money cards since they are usually cheaper than local shops or sites like Amazon.
Love the collection! Your cat has the same name as me!
Seeing you pay these prices makes me feel better about the prices I’ve paid for some of my pick ups lol
While watching this video, I heard simeone crying in the distance. It took me a bit to realize that was your poor wallet.
Love your videos dude.. all the way from Manchester UK
