      Almonds are rich in nutrients like Vitamin E, protein, healthy fats, fiber, magnesium, potassium, and manganese; soaking almonds is recommended because it helps to make these nutrients more readily available for absorption by the body by softening the almond skin and reducing the level of phytic acid, an anti-nutrient that can hinder mineral absorption.
