    at 8:05 wont the stopping potential be in the negative y axis since it should be negative ?

    @ 5:02 since the new stopping potential is lesser....it should have been drawn after the previous Stopping Potential as -3 > -5
    Just a tiny error

    7:47 I have a doubt, if we change the intensity, the no of photons increases and eventually no of photoelectrons emiited also increases. So by logic, it requires more -ve potential to stop the electron from reaching the collector plate when we increase the intensity of radiation. Thus the graph should increase ...
    Pls reply where am i wrong

    • @abh1n4vv
      @abh1n4vv 8 месяцев назад +1

      A -ve stopping potential creates an electric field which repels the incoming electrons. So that shouldn’t depend on the number of electrons

    your graph is janky. the y axis should stem from the origin, aka coordinates (0,0).
