Yeah I still have my Arya stealth and he1000 stealth. Organic is out the door. Thanks for watching, commenting, and subscribing to then unbiased and ininfluenced audio channel here on RUclips!
Well I got the Organic 1/2 half weeks ago and I tested it intensively on a WA22 tube amp and a couple of solid state amps (ifi, fiio k7 and a topping) against my two years’ old Arya Stealth. So far this is one of the few reviews that mimics my experience. Suffice to say I will return the Organic, it’s not for me. The deal breakers are the recessed (also imho less warm) vocals and a downgrade in musical cohesion in favor of a more technical (but not more natural) presentation. The worst offender to my ears is, however, the TREBLE which I felt on some SS amps “bled” into everything else (sensibly less so on tubes), making it fatiguing and way too intense to listen to. Surprised that there aren’t more people bothered by this. Or is everyone EQ-ing it? I’m not saying treble is necessarily peaky or sibilant, it actually felt most of the time somewhat more refined than the one on the Stealth, but the sheer quantity of it is what makes my ears fatigue much sooner than on the Stealth. It seems to be just too much on tracks that are not and should not be treble heavy. I liked the staging size better on the Organic and on some tracks the instruments seemed to be better separated (at the cost of musicality however). So the search goes on for a HP with the sound signature of the Stealth but a bit more stage size, detail and separation, without sacrificing the bass, the forwardness of the vocals or increasing the amount of treble.😅
Some people have bad ears and just believe what others tell them. Glad I could be helpful. Glad you can return it. It does break in over time, but not worth keeping imho. I didn't.
Nice review... It was weird that almost everybody likes arya organic or at least put them in same level of he1000 stealth. Still I believe with eq there is no bright hp. I wonder how they sound with negative high shelf. I love my edition xs and looking for an upgrade. I usually listen to metal music and sometimes edm. Im not a basshead but I love bass if hp delivers it effortlessly and clean. I use cheap amp though (Fiio K7) and wont upgrade it soon. I believe organics are easiest to drive of them. I cant decide between arya stealth, arya organics, he1000 stealth, he1000se(I hope I wont have to pay for se.)
@@intoitreviews I watched them all actually. I believe arya stealth sound character is simular to XS so I would prefer a different taste. He1000 series needs better amp but I have a cheap one. I will probably buy organics and hope that I could get used to the treble.
Hi Intoit, would Ifi Zen can Signature MZ99 be a good pairing with AKG K702? you reviewed the 6XX version so asking. I am looking for an amp for AKG K702. Tried Topping L30II. Didn't like it at all as that amp sounds too thin, lifeless, no dynamics and had a harsh timbre in treble with all my headphones. I sent it back
Hi. Your mention of a better timbre on the stealth version caught my attention. My decision is between stealth and organic, and I'm not too bothered about slight differences in stage size. What about the weakest point? Too fast decay and short small reverbs, a certain lack of airiness and roominess compared to dynamic headphones. According to most reviewers, Organic have a better and longer decay, which results in a more natural sound. What is your perspective on this?
Absolutely not. Stealth is the more natural sounding without question. Your choice should be between the he1000 stealth and the arya stealth if you're considering organic money. Thanks for subscribing to the channel.
What I would like to know is do you think the Organic would be better on tubes. I have Geshelli AKM dac with a Liquid Platinum amp with upgraded tubes. I have the original Ananda. Thinking about treating myself for the Holidays or with my tax refund. Thank you and thank you for the informative content.
I do like Arya's on a hybrid tube for sure, but no hybrid really made it sound better overall than an Arya stealth off the same amplifier. My wife would disagree with me though, so I would think about if you like an intense sound or one more even sounding. Myself, I would get an Arya Stealth while they're still available, but the Organic isn't super far behind it if it's not. Also the he1000 stealth is a wider staging less vocal intimacy arya Stealth with slightly better resolution. Some will prefer that, and if you're gonna spend the money on organic, I'd get the he1000 stealth for evenness and staging. Depends on what you value in the end.
my ananda stealth on true OTL tube amp slow down and gets too loose, I never heard hybrid amp like you have but imo for planars class A solid state should be the best
Wow, this review is the complete opposite of nearly every other reviewer on RUclips. If you are right, I just spent $1300 for a pair of shitty headphones.
They're very good in their own right, the others are just slightly better from a technical standpoint. Like I said, it might be the headphone of the year if the stealth versions didn't exist. Hope you enjoy them. If dynamics are the priority you probably will.
Check out my latest review on the he1000 stealth as well. If you're spending organic money, I'd consider it as well. And thanks for subscribing to the channel.
Nice review and good to get another perspective on these rather than the rest of the sheep reviewers who all seem to be saying the same thing. Spend more money :) It is consumerism after all and they / we wouldn't want to say the old ones are actually better would we 🙄. Thanks
You consider the bass on these intense? Sound is presented to the listener's face? I have the Arya Organics and find it to have excellent soundstage. Well, you also said burn in can change something "unlistenable" to calming down substatially 🤣. I do like how you gaslight your viewers by saying other reviewers who feel different about the sound are "less than capable reviewers". LMAO well done.
I just speak the truth, plain and simple. Glad you enjoy your Organics. Like I said, they're excellent in the grand scheme of things, just like the other two compared in this video. There are just some trade offs vs. their other models. Different stroke for different folks, so to speak... Thanks for watching!
@@intoitreviews sorry to say it, but he is right, in my opinion. AryaOrganic stages bigger than any other version , and even Susvara . I like them a lot . I am listening through a Matrix Element X2 .
@diana73654 they do stage bigger than most other HIFIMAN of their style other than 1000 stealth and original Arya certainly staged bigger than it does. Like I said they're bigger than stealth Arya but not much bigger, and that isn't a knock on the stage all. It's more that the stage is being overhyped on the organic and underrepresented on the Arya stealth after break-in. But, I'm Glad you enjoy the organics. For me, it's too bad their not as technical as the stealth variants. Not everyone will want or desire technical performance though, which I totally understand. Also I think what he was referring to was my comment on the way it presents details. And he confabulated that with assumptions about the stage. Not exactly what I was saying. It always helps to pay attention in my reviews. I try to make them as consice and too the point as possible, but one does need to listen.
@@intoitreviews If the organic one is much better than the stealth magnet, it is the definitive version of the Arya, you are the only one who does not agree with that of all the reviews on the internet
It just isn't though from a technical perspective. I am also the only one who is a trained listener, and not here for marketing or popularity. I speak only the truth about the product, and its actual performance. I am not here just to tell you what you want to hear. Believe what you want. I report the actual auditory performance and differences. That is why people subscribe to this channel and are loyal to it. The organic is a good headphone, but it isn't better technically unfortunately. Best of luck!
If you want to buy into a narrative that is misinformed and wrong, you are more than welcome to do so. I don't deliberately disagree with anyone. I just provide a more accurate accessment of these things than some of these other channels are capable of. But hey, if you want to put your faith in someone that will misguide you, there's nothing I can do about that. I can only produce a video that actually tells the truth, and doesn't have an alternate agenda, and hope that people use better judgement on their own. That's what this channel is about. If you fail to recognize that, I wish you the best of luck on your journey, and hope that one day you make it less hard on yourself. Cheers.
Just the review I needed to not upgrade to the organic from the stealth 😆
