Andy, you are a real troubadour doing a review with snow pelting down. Good video, I couldn’t believe the air time and distance, that could be the longest and straightest I’ve seen you hit, ever. Personally I love the total facelift and change Callaway has given this driver, the colors, the shape, it’s a beauty. I think for performance you have to go with your heart on this one. And from your tone in this video, I don’t think there’s a lot of thinking to do! There is too much fantastic equipment on the market in the last few months and even years that it is hard to choose but sometimes just the right club comes along and you automatically know it. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
I had a fitting last week with the Callaway and Mizuno drivers. Found my current driver (Cobra F9) shaft was to stiff. The Parodime was a good 20 yards longer. So I changed the shaft in my current driver and picked up those 20 yards, all for the price of a shaft.
Sometimes I keep watching reviews of clubs after I buy them. Sometimes it's a mistake: not this time. As someone with a fast swing but who needs a lot of improvement, I got a 9-degree Paradym X and put an XStiff 60-gram shaft on it. It's so easy to hit. I only got it the other day and need to hit more than just a few dozen balls with it, but so far I am really happy.
I decided to learn to swing the club last year. Coming off a used M2, I just got fitted this week for a standard Paradym (my miss is a draw). I picked up 10-20 yards of carry and my dispersion on the Paradym was consistently tighter than the Stealth 2.
I got fitted for the Paradym X and I love it, season has yet to start here in Germany but played a back 9 last Saturday, 5 drives, 5 fairways.......nuff said.....
Love your reviews as always! We seem to always have similar views. 👊🏻 I ended up going with the regular paradym actually. Tried both, but seemed to get a little more distance out of the regular vs. the x and really didn’t lose much forgiveness really. Plus I tend to hit the ball off the toe and go left so having the weight track helped me. I love how it performs and I really didn’t expect to either. Cheers!

Non of the three new models hit any further than my tour edge c722. I hit everything straight so all within 15 yards. Don't take the bait stay with your old one.

U know Andy…. I think I had a similar experience with my new paradigm, 5 wood. My contact with the ball seemed very soft and not solid. However, the distance went every as bit farther than my old Cobra 3 and 5 wood…. LOL! I’m already thinking I’ll pair my Paradigm 5 wood with Paradigm X 5 hybrid to complete my set this year. LOL! Well done Andy, no one can ever call you a fair weather golfer😂 looks like you have found the driver which absolutely suits your game. Arrow straight hits in those conditions, very impressive
I would like to see you do a 'driver playoff' with all the clubs you reviewed including PXG. See if you determine a winner. Criteria? Distance, dispersion, forgiveness? I don't think sound and looks should be part of it. Those are subjective. You could have multiple winners. One for distance and one for the overall winner (performed the best on center hits and mis hits).
Just gone to hero status, Andy. That was a great review and it looks like a brilliant driver, however, it costs £529, which I suspect is not for the average golfer.
