Vecna uses the Mindflayer to control everything. Thats why Eleven said "It was you. Always you." he was behind every monster, ever move from the beginning. So its less a contract but a "means to realize his potential" as Vecna himself said during his monologue :)
Maybe their connection is a little bit like Sauron and The Ring. One controls and needs the other to fully release his whole power.

I feel like they had a choice between Steve and Eddie to die, because of Dustin. Dustin was the only one in the group who was still kind of viewing it as a comic, fantasy hero thing where no one in their group had died. No one impacted him personally. I know Dustin will be very different in season 5.
Watching Eddie saying, "Don't ever change, man." really hit once I realized that his was the first death Dustin has had to deal with. He's definitely going to change.

Easiest way to make sense of Will spelling things out is to just say he saw there were 26 distinct lights and realized it was the alphabet.
They left a good hint about the Gate Opening and Vecna's plan right in the first episode. When Chrissy sees the clock, you see the four cracks taking place in the glass and then a hole in the middle that the spiders then come out of from that hole in the cracked glass. It happens exactly like we see the cracks happening in this episode.
They also forshadowed during the DnD game that a villain that was presumed dead will return and an "11" will fail to defeat it. Just like Eleven in the finale

The "kid" actors are 18-20 and they were meant to be 15 in this season..I think they will skip to like 1989 (3 year skip) and that will be the actors being 20-22 playing 18 year olds and that is pretty realistic.
Noah Shnap is the youngest I think, he's 17 playing a 15 year old. Which I think is fine. At least Finn Wolfhatd still sounds young

Ngl I'm kinda annoyed by the modern standard game of thrones has set for character deaths, because by any normal standard this finale was tragic, only 2 main characters died this season, and it was still devastating, you don't need to have half the cast die or be crippled every season to create tension and connect to the characters.
Despite most GoT and The Walking Dead deaths being more shocking Max's death in this got a lot more emotion out of me than any of those.
Also good to remember that Stranger Things isn't an R rated show and a lot of kids also watch it.
after stranger things another live action series that you guys can react to could be the umbrella academy its only got 3 seasons and 10 episodes a season and alot of people react to it

okay i know this video is like 2 years old but at 39:28 the actress plays that plays vickie is in a show called "anne with an e" and her character anne talks just as much as robin, if not more 💀. that's why she's so good at her role in this show lol
My prediction is that season 5 will be very deadly. The first season started with Will and Eleven, and season 5 will end with the sacrifice of Will and Eleven.

@@lucan_nn cool. m/m fics aren't my thing, so I found out about it from coreydoesthings' video on the list. Some of my ships were on their though, one of which I even read fics of. The only thing that might be rarer then straight ships on that list is f/f. Catradora still barely on there. Although for ongoing shows two of my ships were decently ranked, Lumity and Cait/Vi (not sure if a ship name has been settled on). I think there was one more f/f ship in the top 100, but that one I didn't know.
Im worried that season 3 Dustin to Steve "You die, i die!" is a foreshadow.

The lights in season 1 made no sense to me either but I think Joyce must have told Will how the lights were arranged perhaps offscreen? Though that still doesn't make much sense because personally it would take me a good minute to be able to figure out where "r" "u" "n" is on the wall with no labels and spell it out. No way would I be able to do that in a panic before a god damn monster comes lol.
I read somewhere that the duffer brothers said that the time freeze plays a big part in season 5 apparently so they might give more detail on how that all works and patch up the plot hole but we will see.
There are 26 letters in the alphabet and numbers 0-9. All he had to do was count the little areas of glowing particles to space them out and understand.

With all your guys' talk and enjoyment of the D&D aspects in Stanger Things, I have no doubt that you would all love The Legend of Vox Machina! It's an amazing animated series adaptation of the first D&D campaign of Critical Role, made by the players themselves and first funded by the fans themselves!! As a proud Critter, it's a true love letter to both Critical Role and the ttrpg world as a whole and it's super fun! You don't need to know anything about the original campaign or D&D to enjoy it (it will add a little enjoyment from some easter eggs but that's it), and it truly is an amazing show and has some amazing talents in it as well. There are two seasons so far, with a third on the way and a second show based on their second D&D campaign, the Mighty Nein, confirmed as well! We're all hoping that TLOVM gets another 2 seasons at least to wrap up the original story, but it will be amazing regardless. It's on Amazon Prime Video.
I would love to see you guys react to The Legend of Vox Machina if you all took the chance! It's truly such a great show and definitely up your guys' alley ☺

As far as next season goes, I see the possibility of three characters dying. One is Will due to his connection and him being the one to do something to save them/martyr like Eddie. The other possibility will be Jonathan to save Will in some way, or also Steve. The reason for these two is since they reintroduced the love Triangle with Nancy, them killing of either Stever or Jonathan is one of the easier ways to resolve the triangle, though I also feel a lazy way of writing the resolution to that situation sort of like what happened with Pearl Harbor, we'll just kill the one character and that solves that issue, the woman ends up with the survivor. There is also the tombstone that is dedicated to Michael Myers in Episode four, but the M is hidden by Vines, so you only see the Yers matter in this. I know it's a tribute, but I also think it could be a hint as well to one of the Byers dying. Not to mention you have a fake grave and tombstone from Season 1 sitting there.

My theory is that the Letters in the wall will be answered in season 5, So many people thinking that Will have a special ability. I even thinking that will is the one who create the Hawkins in the Upside-down its a stupid theory of mine but after the time stop, also in season 3 i think they said that they try to open gate in russia and that is just blank
If you will look or rewatch season 4 so many scenes that will and henry is so similar. Also in their D&D Game Will is their Mage.

Theory time. Mike's emotional love speech isn't about El. It's about the version of El that Will presented him with last episode, which is secretly Will.
Throughout S1-3, there is the constant saying of, "Love makes you crazy". Flo says it to Nancy about Jonathan. Mike tries saying it to El in S3 but he avoids using the word love. And in S2, Mike says to Will, "If we're gonna go crazy, let's go crazy together" and holds his hand.
Mike acts really weird around Will when he first sees him in S4. Why is that? You could argue the time they spent apart. But it's also implied he doesn't spend much time with Lucas either and that their relationship was a bit strained once he joined the basketball team. And yet, he gives him and everyone else a normal hug this season. Yet with Will, he does this awkward shoulder pat. When we last saw Mike and Will, their relationship was fine. Will seemed jealous of all the letters El recieved from Mike, so it would make sense if he was acting weird when he first saw Mike. And yet Mike is the one who seemingly seems bothered. The only new information Mike has at this point that he didn't have at the end of S3 is that El told him she thinks Will likes someone. And Finn Wolfhard confirmed that Mike is pretty much oblivious to Will's feelings for him. So Mike isn't acting weird because he knows Will has a crush on him. So why does Will potentially having a crush on someone bother him so much?
Mike didn't have any problem with Dustin getting a girlfriend. Or Lucas and Max. But with Will, he seems oddly upset.
Bonus pieces of evidence: Mike has a sign pointing towards his closet. And for some reason, in every single season, there's an instance of Mike randomly deciding to stare at Will's lips. Or he gets caught staring at Will and tries looking away quickly. It has happened multiple times at this point.
Mike and Will are also standing together with the other couples. And Mike lies multiple times in his speech to El. He tells her that he was in love with her from the moment that he first saw her. But that's not true. When he first saw her in S1, his first thought was that he wanted to send her back where she came so they could get back to finding Will. He spends most of S1 being terrified of her or uses her as a tool to find Will. It's only towards the end of the season that he starts to see her as her own person and not a Will finder. So not only is Mike's speech about El not even about her, it's also full of statements that just are blatant lies. Mike also agrees with Will's statement that it would be hard to tell the truth to someone you care about because they might not like the truth. If Mike's truth is about loving El, why would she not like that? She's been wanting to hear that all season. Unless Mike is hiding some other truth. Perhaps that he likes someone else. In conclusion, Mike is hiding something. A crush. Not on El. But on Will. Potentially.
na, mike has been into el since season 1 and on. he just never had a girlfriend before or a girl that was interested in him before and he is just shy with his feelings, its not uncommon i mean.

Well mike didn't love eleven immediately, that much is true, but he fell in love pretty quickly. I don't think mike is in love with will, but will is his best friend and the person he was closest to before he met eleven.

I'm hoping they skip for three or four years.
I loved this season, but I think I had similar complaints to previous seasons. Mainly being that the deaths were predictable (in my opinion). I guessed by the end of ep3 that Eddie Jason and Brenner were going to die and after ep4 I knew that Max would rlly be going through it again later, but I assumed she wasn’t going to die bc I didn’t think they had the guts for that 😅, however I wasn’t sure as to how they would go about it. With El bringing her back, I think it kind of makes things more difficult next season bc if someone dies it’ll be like: “well why couldn’t El just bring them back?” (unless they specify that El needs a very close bond with that person). I could also predict that Vecna was going to win this time bc the Duffers rlly went on about how “Seasons 4 and 5 are going to feel a lot more connected” 🤷🏼♀️
I thought this season was a big step up from the last one, but still played into my worries of: don’t continue to say that the show has very high stakes if you won’t follow through (this can pertain to death OR just letting us see how the characters get injured or are mentally affected by the events they go through)
!PREDICTIONS FOR NEXT SEASON! I think the first 1 or 2 episodes will be directly after this season, and THEN time skip 2 or 3 years
I'm not worried about 11 being able to bring people back because in Max's case I think her "dying" had more to do with Vecna absorbing her conscience then her actual body dying. Like if someone next season gets stabbed straight through the heart or loses a significant amount of blood I dont see 11 being able to save that person. With Max her body just had broken bones.
@@Jpimpin2593 yeah, that’s what I meant (didn’t want to type it out 😅) I just imagined that if they get strangled, drown or something like that they could still be brought back bc I think El’s powers work not exactly as resurrection but she can start the heart again (similar to how she made a kid piss themself in S1)
@@anafrost7192 fortunately i don't really see them using this again. In Max's case it was very specific and the Duffer Bros even said in an interview that was recorded before the finale dropped that it wasnt a cop out. They stated that at one point they planned on killing her, but since they had extra time cuz of the pandemic they were able to do a basic outline of season 5, and that the situation Max is in with her being in a coma plays a key role next season. I'm guessing getting her conscience back from Vecna will play a role in closing the gates.
