having a color light affect things like choosing a muted orange instead of green for leaves is fascinating. Color theory is really crazy how it tricks our eyes to see different colors than what they are. I love it.
Thank you so much for making this great tutorial. I've been trying to find resources for learning to draw BGs and you are sharing some of the most helpful information I have found so far. Thank you!
This was so helpful for me as a beginner wanting to start trying environment and lighting scenes :00 so thank you so much!! 💖The explanations were so great and tied up so many loose ends in my head🤯🤯 subscribedddd
OMG your tutorials are the best! It is extremely useful that you show how you manage the layers. Have you ever considered showing this process through live on twitch?
Thank you so much! I'm glad these are useful! Yeah I absolutely want to start streaming as well but it's a bit tough the break the ice 😅 but thank you for this advice it encourages me!
Hi, I am planning to start digital drawing and I was wondering what stylus pen is the best to use on Procreate? My iPad is 5th gen. Please tell me what FEATURES (like pressure sensitivity if I’m right) my pen should have for a better experience in digital drawing.
Unfortunately the 5th gen iPad doesn't support the apple pencil! I haven't really tried 3rd party stylus with it so I'm not sure which one to recommend. Anyway once you find a solution that you like you can select "edit pressure curve" in Procreate's preferences and select the curve that you prefer!
What if I’m drawing on an already existing bg, and all I want to do is basically do this but ONLY to the subject, otherwise, the bg looses some of the color.
then it's just a matter of cutting out your subject from the background, you can do so by using the lazo tool for example and placing your subject on a different layer
@@Ariabba no need to cut. I drew the subject on a separate layer and since my comment I learned some new tricks and achieved what I needed. Thanks to you because I used some of your advice.
Jola gracias por el video me gusto mucho y amo tu canal espero en un futuro alguien lo tradusca al sub español me ayudaria mucho y otros ispanoablantes ❤❤
Thank you so much 🥰 o hope these tutorials help! I'll share more, but if you have something particular you want me to teach please feel free to request!
@@Ariabba OMG you're so sweet 😭😭 my problem is that for many years i focused on drawing Portraits and realistic drawings but last year i decided to learn how to paint digitally and dive into colors but I still struggle a lot with backgrounds and colors 😢
You don't have to worry! There are tons of workouts that you can do to improve it and if you're consistent it wont require that much time. There's a free app called mapcruch that brings you in random places in Google Street view. So you can do a sort of "virtual plain air". Just copy your reference and exercise with it! If you're interested there are a bunch of tips in the highlights of my IG account 😊
Ohh thank you so much!! I very much appreciate the support ❤️ mapcruch is an app you can use in the browser, it's a webapp! So there's not even need to download it so I think it's even better 😉

Hi! I’m so happy i found your channel 🙂 you have a lot of layers- what size is your canvas? My procreate always seems to limit the amount i can have
It depends! If I want to print the shorter side is 5k pixel minimum! If it's just a sketch it's 2k px ☺️
Will recommend this video to my friend asmur
