For the CRN, that was the same take I had on my reddit post. Pretty good tuning, but the treble added a weird effect that made vocals and instruments have a weird timbre and almost sound slightly shimmery and sibilant. But pulling down 8k by 5db and boosting 12k by 10db makes the mids sound much more full body and fixes a lot of the Timbre issues. So close but it needs EQ to really be excellent
The balanced armature is the 30095, right? I think it's safe to assume that the BA is the tweeter and the MST does midrange. So I can only wonder if this'd be substantially better if KZ used a Knowles RAD-33518-P183 at the expense of most likely increasing the price from $36 to the low to mid 40s. Or maybe just plain let the MST play all but the bass and just not use the BA. I imagine another positive is that 8kHz is super easy to EQ since most devices have a slider at exactly that frequncy. No such luck for 12kHz however. Which actually makes me wonder. What do you all recommend in the sub $50 and sub $30 as a bonus if that person is willing to EQ. @@JoelHernandez-tz3vk The 30095 is classified as mid-high BA in all of KZ listing, so I assume it does upper mids to treble while the MST does the rest. I think assuming KZ next gen magnetostat can handle the treble frequency fully they probably ditch the BA for an actual midrange BA.

Great comparison. As a musician, I check out these reviews, to find an IEM that works in an on stage environment. I’m not looking to spend a fortune, as I live in hope that we’ll drop the in ears and go back to using wedges. I’ve recently settled on the KZ ZEX set, these were getting great reviews before the pros came out. The main selling point for me, being that the high end had been smoothed out, and the midrange was fairly strong. Interestingly for me, the tuning doesn’t mean much, when you’re at the mercy of a different sound guy every time you play. I’ve let some guys try the KZs, and the common opinion is that they sound better than the Shures. As they are the second set of IEMs I’ve bought in the last two years, I think I’ll just park it here. Thanks for the reviews!
Me who personally love's the bassy tuning of KZ surprisingly Love the new tuning of the ZEX Pro aka CRN. Now it's not all about the bass. I also like the balance tuning
The fact that "cleaning" the highs has on all other frequency ranges may be due to reshaping upper harmonics of the sound changes the feel of it. The timbre of the sound is defined by the sum of its harmonic components, that are infinite, which means that a change in the response may change the ratio between highs and lows of a bass guitar (let's say) changing the actual sound of it

@@Rorensuwl8 I do like them. They actually sound better than I thought they would, especially at the $38 price point. Depending on the music or the song, there is a frequency in the high end that I find a bit odd, but only on a few songs. An equalizer can help with this to smooth it out. They are not bass heavy, but bass, mids and highs all have good clarity and instrument separation and no frequency is overpowering another. I believe at below $50 these would be hard to beat. Can you review the new Blon BL 07? They received high praise by a reviewer named Ian Fann or something like that but i want to hear your opinion about them because i found your comparision between the ZEX and DQ6 to be pretty spot on. Anyways i knew that there was something fishy going on with the CRN. Everyone hyped them as the next best thing even though this was an entirely new driver configuration and tuning from a manafacturer who releases IEMs every 2 weeks. I think they should either just entirely ditch the magnetostatic technology or try an entirely different approach for them because at the moment it's just dragging their IEMs down.
Curious to know what people would consider the best low-mid tier iem. I'm using the zsn's from kz at the moment, do get some earcanal strain after wearing them for over 2ish hours, paid I think about 25 for them and am decently happy. Good review. I agree with you many things. To review iem is always good bot to use eq unless you review daps. I use eq in most my iem because I am not doing reviews.and all music is recorded with eq plugins. So I do the same. Now about kz. Looks like kz has the same drivers all the time. They upgraded their last drivers but only in the colour and nothing else. And yes. The bass is terrible because of their dd. Once you boost the volume and its raised more than 65db in the sub bass, it struggles. And I guess Asians they love treble because of their singing is always sound not natural and very much on highs. About the drivers. Yes. Kz needs to change their drivers. Sounds like the start on each frequency does not start and does not decay. Just the middle is there. Sounds like boosted and that's it. About what you said about mids. I am with you. I love bass, but the mids needs to be there. And they can fix that by turning the 300hz to 2 k 1 or 2 dB higher like 64 audio does so it overcomes the bass. Only a few companies they do that. Most if them they keep the mids at 60 dB and that's it. Then the bass overtakes the mids. But if they boost the mids. Then problem solved . Good review.
My DQ6 came with white Starlines and my ZEX came with the tws-esque style tips. I've tried them like your setup and they both sounded awful. ZEX has a lot of upper bass/lower mids so using a bass tip like Starlines just makes it sound really dark and muddy. Likewise for the DQ6, using the tws-esque tips that puts the nozzle really close to your ears makes them a sibilant mess.
@@SuperReview I like to use the acoustune 07/08 tips for everything since they fit me comfortably. For the DQ6 I use 08's since it has a more narrow nozzle (07's are kind of a loose fit). They don't get rid of the sibilance completely (you'll still hear it with female vocals) but they tone it down a notch to where I personally find it bearable enough. The ZEX unfortunately you're stuck with the TWS tips, otherwise they sound muddy in the midrange like the FD3's.
Really good bass if you like it natural, pristine mids, comfy but detailed treble with a bit of a 8k peak, easily remobable with EQ, and good air... these sound like 5x their price
I looked up on the review and pull the triger on CRN, only to find it really disappointing. Comparing to my tin hifi t4, it literally sounds dead to me, even by having more bass, still boring and flat. I am not a audiophile, but that is how I feel. Shame on the other reviewer says it's only $35 but being a $300 IEM. I thought I would find something I like. In the end, Tin hifi T4 still is the best budget IEM for me.

To be honest I feel kinda robbed only knowing that Crinacle tuned this IEM. I like to know the facts of a product before buying it, this stunt he and KZ pulled is not on and I doubt I'll be purchasing a product from them in the near future. On a technical note, the treble produced is harsh but not as harsh as the BA drivers on the KZ ZS10 Pro.
@@SuperReview there might be people out there who are not big fans of Crinacle but big fans of KZ. Stating an opinion about a audio product in the community is very valid, but when that opinion developed into a product I thinks it's only fair that companies make sure they are transparent off the get go.
The fact that the person tuning the earphone happened to be a popular reviewer shouldn't be considered not transparent because anyway you don't know who's tuning the regular ones. But the tuning graphs were published and all technical details were all put out there. Everything about it is as transparent as other iems. The only part where crn branding came to play was people like me who doesn't use KZ a lot, is now ordering it for just experiencing what kind of tuning can be done at this price point by crinacle. It shouldn't really affect regular kz fans if you compare frequency response with previous models.

You raise the bass by 65dB?
@@SuperReview LOL
In my opinion you should have talked about eqing the dq6/ZEX if you did that with the CRN.
They would be much harder to EQ.
Have you got your hand on Austrian audio hi x15? How do they sound?
Nope.
Is there a combo that works for you?
@@SuperReview I like to use the acoustune 07/08 tips for everything since they fit me comfortably. For the DQ6 I use 08's since it has a more narrow nozzle (07's are kind of a loose fit). They don't get rid of the sibilance completely (you'll still hear it with female vocals) but they tone it down a notch to where I personally find it bearable enough. The ZEX unfortunately you're stuck with the TWS tips, otherwise they sound muddy in the midrange like the FD3's.
Yeah, decent Bass, GREAT MIDS, unfortunate treble.
Especially that cymbal notes.
Close.
Really good bass if you like it natural, pristine mids, comfy but detailed treble with a bit of a 8k peak, easily remobable with EQ, and good air... these sound like 5x their price
Kz nin kardeş firması cca. "CCA nra" incelenecek mi?
which one so you prefer? kz crn or moondrop ssr? do they sound identical?
They sound quite different, but I would take SSR.
i like ssr sound. which one suitable for me? aria or starfield?
What would you suggest then if these will make your ears be in pain after 15 min?
These are my favorites under $50: squig.link/list/?price-zone=1,2&score=5,4
What's the eq change you applied?
8kHz: -5dB
16kHz: +5dB
@@SuperReview thanks!
Have Zex ...is it still worth to upgrade for zex pro
Both have very different tuning, so if you love your zex you may not like the pro's
@@arivintejalakam I have both and I like both, each with its own specific characteristics.
@@arivintejalakam thanks man, zex got unanimous positive response...but pro didn't...better I avoid
Oluv has the Earfun Pro, ,BGGR has the Mele,Crinicle has this . Jim you could be next.
What is the Best KZ on your subjective opinion ? I am planning to buy one.
There are a few that are OK: squig.link/list/?search=kz
@@SuperReview ZS10Pro looks like the one
How does It compare to the aria?
I think the Aria is much better overall. Aria is bassier, which isn't my preference, but it's otherwise better across the board.
can anyone recommend a good iem that wont bust on live tracking?
?
Can you review vr3000 by final audio?
No plans to. I have one and don't care for it, too bright.
@@SuperReview please make list for iems or earphones for gaming, music, video watching?
Is this better than air pods
Please review Senfer MT500
Zex pro vs blon bl-03 which is good
I'd take the Blon personally.
It puts the importance of tuning/graphs into perspective...can't make a Ferrari out of a Volkswagen.
Partly that for sure.
I think it is Crin's attempt to " no one needs to pay more for good tuning"
KZ x Crinacle CRN or BLON BL-03 🤨🤨
Price is the same
I would take BL03, fits me better and doesn't need EQ even though it's too bassy.
KZ X Crinical vs Blon Bl03 vs ZSN Pro X?
For all genres??
What will you recommend for 25$
Not a basshead female vocal and male vocal should clear and instruments can be heard nicely and clean not too be much bright little bright is okay. Blon 3 doesnt fit they always fell off so except These.
Please reply,
Thanks

Never heard it, buy whatever you'd like.
wait, I got the zex pro without the crinacle name or logo, is it still the exact same IEM?
Yes.
thank you for eq setting
Well, the reviewer is accurate. These are dull and flat in some parts and cymbals are too bright. Got them, I should have listened.
crn Vs Tin T2 ?
T2 for me.
Not dramatic at all it did the same to me they hurt
You should add a "frankly" counter next time lol
Hard to count live, need audience help 👍

yup, pretty meh
These headphones weigh 1lb each, are bulky as fuck and broke one day after their 7 day warranty. Go buy some BLONs that don't suck, js.
They absolutely do not weigh one pound.
@@SuperReview fair enough, hyperbole isn't your strong suit. Nevertheless, let me know what IEM's weigh more. I'll wait.
The earpieces weigh a combined 14 grams. The KZ ZS10 Pro weighs 16 grams. JVC FDX1 weighs 18. Moondrop Starfield is 18 grams. Ikko OH10 is 32.
And that's just from the 15 IEMs I've weighed. I have a collection of 150. At this rate, I can probably name at least 40 IEMs that weigh more than the CRN but I don't want to measure them all.
Yep drink that water hard
Want some?
My impression of the video is that Super is not feeling too super about KZ IEMs. I think there is an issue with the price. You can't rely on your experience of >$100 IEMs and markdown KZ that is in the price range of

@@SuperReview Thank you. I will view them. I know everyone has a preference. I do too! I like Tin HiFi P1 for its unique representation of music, some don't. That's the thing, we are all listening to a presentation of the sound, the track, the music.
Even IEM that I don't like maybe a gem to someone else because we have different preferences, listening experiences and hearing sensitivity. You said it yourself, the V-shaped KZ sound. Well, I do like it and I am biased as KZ introduced me to the world of Chi-Fi IEMs. I wouldn't be here if not for KZ doing the job of getting me interested in IEMs. That being said, it ok to express dislike in the IEM reviews. We need to keep an open mind and pick up our own IEM preferences. Thank you, I really like your RUclips channel.
I got a few TinHiFi IEMs after watching your channel.
I don't have this impression at all. I think the review was fair and square.
These suck as far as im concerned, need to return them, music was thin and tinny compared to the monitors sure 840a I use for work.... waste of money, plus they WONT stay in my ears, total bust!!!
Just got it and it sounds surprisingly like ass
Where does one acquire that listening experience?
@@SuperReview lol I wasn't expecting much but I was really disappointed in it. No hate to you or anything.
About the Sound Quality 😁 kZ edx pro is the Lowest 😂 But about Comfy 🙄 for me kZ edx pro is Better than kZ ZEX
Haven't seen your channel in the longest time. An still, ironically, you are the RUclipsr with the worst audio quality. Get a better mic or something...
The worst huh.
What about it is upsetting?
@@SuperReview there might be people out there who are not big fans of Crinacle but big fans of KZ.
Stating an opinion about a audio product in the community is very valid, but when that opinion developed into a product I thinks it's only fair that companies make sure they are transparent off the get go.
OK, thanks for the perspective 👍
The fact that the person tuning the earphone happened to be a popular reviewer shouldn't be considered not transparent because anyway you don't know who's tuning the regular ones. But the tuning graphs were published and all technical details were all put out there. Everything about it is as transparent as other iems. The only part where crn branding came to play was people like me who doesn't use KZ a lot, is now ordering it for just experiencing what kind of tuning can be done at this price point by crinacle. It shouldn't really affect regular kz fans if you compare frequency response with previous models.
@@sterlingmaloryarcher6352 yea it is an endorsement but Imo I think its fine to forgive them one time if it pissed off kz fans . Hopefully they don't do this again. But this is great for buisiness for them. I understand where you're coming from and it is completely valid.
