When I see the faces of the two friends, especially the voices and faces of the girls, it is a natural healing atmosphere. Thank you for explaining the same words in a way that makes my heart feel comfortable and understandable. I am also planning a trip to Switzerland with my family, and I think it will be very helpful. Thank you. Always be happy.
This is super helpful, I had no idea there were so many pass choices!! I also just saw that you were offering the 1:1 consultations! That's fantastic!! If we choose to go to Switzerland in the future, I know who to turn to!
Very good video, right on target! Just two little remarks about trains: it's obviously not the classiest thing to do, but it's not forbidden to spread your feet on the seat in front of you. A lot of people do it (mostly young people, I admit) from time to time. If you do it, however, it's important to take off your shoes (or put a newspaper under your feet). Under these conditions, no train agent will reproach you. And of course, you have to free the seat in front when the train fills up! In that It's the same thing for bags and suitcases... Please, no bags on the seat next to you or in front of you when the train is filling up, it's basic courtesy... and yet even at rush hour, some people wait for passengers to ask them if they can sit down to finally remove their bags. This is inexcusable! The second thing is, buying your train ticket in advance allows you to save a lot of money indeed, but not as much as you make it seem in the video. Most of the time, the discount is between 20 and 50% if you buy it more than a week in advance. In some rare cases, you can get 60% off, but I've never seen three times less than the regular price!
Oh my goodness, I stumble upon your channel while researching traveling to Switzerland, let just say that I have been binge watching going on 5 hours!!! Thank you for putting theses videos together…Switzerland is one of the places I am obsessed with it’s such a beautiful country I imagine that’s what heaven must be like! Your channel is incredible informative especially because your husband is from there and you being from NY, sharing your point of view is as really as it gets. Lots of useful information. We were planning on going April however after watching your video on when is a good time to visit, I believe September or December would a good time for. FYI, I jus finished watching the one on flying business class Swiss, let me just say that’s the way we’re going! Keep these videos going you guys are doing a great job!
Thank you so much for the comment! So glad it has been helpful to you so far! Both Sept and Dec are great times of year to visit, and I agree with you in switching to one of those months from April. Happy planning!
Thank you for this video. I bought the half fare card & definitely will purchase the top of Europe pass. We’ll be there this summer for 3 months and having the half fare card is a good value.
Great video!! There isn't much advertising out there regarding regional passes. Our trip is planned for June 11-July 1. I plan on buying the half fare card as well as the Berner Oberland Pass. Our trip starts in Appenzell and our 3 night hotel stay provides us with an Appenzell holiday card, which covers our travel in that region. We're staying in Murren and the BO pass covers roughly half the distance to our next stop in Montreux. The Lake Geneva Pass covers the rest of the distance and all of our travel in that area. Thanks again.
I’m interested in Swiss train travel! Give me all The options! So interesting all The options and I would have had no idea there so many! I want the Swiss travel pass! Cannot wait to come and visit!
The most helpful video about it that I have seen so far! Thanks for explaining. You guys really helped me to decide what option will fit better on my trip.
Great tips for travelers, Alexis & Louis! Bottom line from my experience is that Swiss public transportation is SUPER! Between train, boat, & bus you can get to so many places, even many places that are off the beaten path (my favorite spots to go). Do note for your followers that the term "museum" includes most castles, the library at St. Gallen, and the wonderful open air museum of Ballenberg--a real deal! When faced with an entry fee just ask--you may be pleasantly surprised.
Excellent video! I thought I had things planned out by buying a Swiss Travel Pass but now will think again after watching your video. You guys are great!
Hi! Can you pls share some insights about how did it go? I’m basically going to all those places next week! Did you pay a lot for the mountain transportation that is not included in the Swiss Travel Pass? I believe it only discounts 25% in those areas. Also, did it cover the ticket to Zermatt in full? Sorry for all the questions, I’m still hesitant on buying only the Swiss Travel Pass or buying the Top of Europe Pass and combine it with another travel card Thanks in advance 🙂
@@Gabsabc Swiss travel pass cover all the public transport network including (boat trip) for lake trip around Switzerland you can go Zermat also. Hello Alexis and Louis! I feel like this video definitely helped me figure out which pass will be best for me. My boyfriend and I will be in Switzerland for two weeks in October and will be renting a car the whole trip. Hey guys - Thk God I found this channel & thk you for doing it. Quick story. We are a family of 5 (kids/adults-ages 24,22,18) & we love to travel & take advantage of the rare times we are all together. Unfortunately it’s always around the holidays, crazy expensive. This year we searched & threw around ideas where to go - long story longer -we are going to Switzerland. Very impromptu but we booked a week ago. Now it’s time to plan and luckily we came across your channel, which I’m starting to binge. But wanted to get your suggestion on how to attack. We will be there from 12/23-12/27 staying in Brienz on the lake. So we have about 3.5 days. We fly into Zürich. Ton of questions but I want to be respectful of your time and I think I can get most from your channel but I wanted to ask you with the time we have what itinerary would you put together to get the most of Switzerland? And by the way my son (24) would like to snow board. Any help is greatly appreciated. And what pass would you recommend
Great Video.Liked it, in the Full fare card, do I still need to pay for the ticket ? I am looking for something which is for 1 day and I don't need to buy ticket.
Hi Alexis and Louis, I booked a trip to visit Switzerland and Germany for this summer and our plans are to fly into Zurich then travel to Interlaken for 2 days. From there spend 3 days in Grindelwald, then head to Fussen Germany for a couple of days and finally head to Munich to end our trip. We are not renting a car, so all train travel. After watching your videos, it sounds like a good option would be to get Eurail passes and Top of Europe passes and that should cover most of the travels between locations. Please let me know if you think another option would be better. Thank You !

Very informative video ! Definitely subscribe & follow you.
Great Video.Liked it, in the Full fare card, do I still need to pay for the ticket ? I am looking for something which is for 1 day and I don't need to buy ticket.
hi, good to hear you both. if we have swiss day pass that comes in 52 franc, then our children free to travel with us or have to buy for them also.
Thank You !
What great tips!
Thanks!
