Private owners aren't likely to buy this thing. It's gutless and is extremely expensive given it's super cheap engines. Also I don't believe rotax engines are certified for IMC. So it can't go through clouds...

I would be interested in a used one. I would use it as a two seater and run it on mogas. These Rotax engines *are* certified. SLSAs use the cheaper uncertified Rotax engines because they are not allowed into IMC thanks to ASTM standards anyway.

@@Finder245 I'm not sure why you would want to do that. Any 200hp single has much better performance.

@@mp-xt2rg you really cannot compare singles and twins. With the same total horsepower, a single will always have better performance. You could also just ask why would anyone ever get a twin. The answer is that they want to have redundancy. Whether that redundancy makes any sense is debatable and highly dependent on how the aircraft is used. Regardless, if one popped up nearby for a good price, I would consider it.

@@Finder245 I guess you can burn money however you like. Seems crazy to buy an airplane that's basically a slightly faster 172. It's designed to operate as a trainer it's not good at anything else. An sr22 would be cheaper and better at everything.

@@mp-xt2rg everything except flying with a failed engine and fuel burn… do you think that any twin engine aircraft makes sense?
