every island in indonesia has like a completely different atmosphere and culture so yeah, you can easily get beer and alcohol in bali and in eastern part of indonesia while in the western part of indonesia you need to buy it from the liquor store as islam is the major religion in the western part of indonesia. good luck. try to visit yogyakarta special region as well, it's literally an autonomous monarch kingdom ruled by sultanate in a presidential unitary republic country. if you still have time, try to go aceh special region as well, it's an autonomous region that is the only one in indonesia that applies sharia law. it's okay and the people are as helpful and happy as the other region but make sure to use long clothes. enjoy the diversity in indonesia and don't worry about transportation, you can always travel along using train in the island of java, sumatera, and sulawesi or bus in any part of indonesia. in most provincial capital there's lrt, mrt, or brt to use. if you extended your trip i would be happy to see you go the papua and enjoy the nature, once again never worry about public transportation.

speaking of monarch kingdom, actually there are so many monarch kingom still existed in indonesia as well as their kingdom building like in the solo in central java province, kutai kartanegara in east kalimantan province, and etc but the only one that recognized it's independece as autonomous kingdom region is only yogyakarta. every land there owned by the sultan.

10:47 it's actually Sabilulungan, a Sundanese traditional song. It sounds just like a Balinese one, but there's a little bit different in there. For beverages, both of you can try some wedangs especially in West Java, there's Wedang Bajigur, Bandrek. These traditional drinks contain some special herbs that could warm your body when enjoying cooler weather in Bandung

@@EmmieandPaulTo add to that, beers and liquors are actually pretty common and easy to find but you have to ask locals on where to buy it since most of the vendors are not 100% legal/registered so it might seem hard to find for tourists. I advice if you want to drink go for restaurants that have alcohol available or look for bars, you can find them on google, also don't openly drink in public like the streets because it is very frowned upon. What makes the price expensive is the tax, the tax for alcoholic beverages is very high in Indonesia.
      Enjoy your stay!

Bandung is quite expensive for stuff like beer and etc. Even rent a motorcycle in Bandung is also very expensive if you compared it with other cities like Bali or Malang.
I have a lot friends live in Bandung and they also have a same problem that Bandung is really expensive.
I have a recommend region/city to visit in Indonesia with their own unique
    1. North Sumatera region like Toba or you can visit North Sumatera's Capital City called Medan = In the region like Toba, u can visit Danau toba and etc. So many natural vacation here. Also the food is really good like BPK (Babi Panggang Karo) is a roast pork with Karo's seasoning. Really unique. If you go to the capital city (Medan), u can try more lot foods from Melayu seasoning, Aceh Seasoning, Chinese Seasoning, and Batak Seasoning. Those foods are really great!!
    2. Palembang (South Sumatera) = Palembang is one of the modernest city in Indonesia. They have their own LRT within the city. Also the shopping center like mall is really modern. Also the foods is really-really great. One of the most famous is called Pempek. U have to try it!!
    3. Surabaya (East Java) = Surabaya its quite same like Palembang. They sell their modernest. Surabaya is number 2 of the biggest city in Indonesia. Surabaya also have the biggest Mall/Shopping center in Indonesia called Pakuwon Mall and Tunjungan Plaza. So if you like something like shopping center or mall, u can go to Surabaya or Palembang.
    4. Malang (East Java) = Malang is quite same with North Sumatera. They have a lot of natural vacation. Malang's beach i would say is cooler than Bali. Its really natural. Also malang is near to Batu City. Batu City also have a really famous natural vacation called Paralayang Batu. Its really beautiful if you go there like 3 AM in the morning and wait for the sun rise.
Im really happy to see foreign tourism enjoy their vacation or enjoy Indonesia. Hopefully you can enjoy all the moments in Indonesia.

13:40 it's the sound of a call to worship for Muslims (azan), which occurs five times a day (subh, zuhr, 'asyr, maghrib, isya') at certain predetermined times from sunrise to sunrise again the next day.
Throughout the world, the sound of azan never stops every minute of every day until the end of the world.
This is caused by the passage of time due to the movement of evolution and rotation between planets, causing time differences on our earth.

Why is it difficult to buy beer on the island of Java, because the majority of the population is Muslim, so on the island of Java only in certain places to buy beer. And on the island of Bali, the majority of the population is Hindu, so it's easy to find beer there because selling beer there is legal and the price is quite cheap compared to the island of Java

Sorry beer/alcohol is nit alloeed to be sold in most of Indonesia for religious reasons . It is more available in non muslin majority provinces like Bali though in many places you need to be discrwte. Hotels are your best bet as many reataurants won't sell it.

Alcoholic beverages can be sold but with very strict rules, according to local authority.. and of course it will be much more expensive when compared to Bali.. 😁
